Hooch [a n.j.h. fanfiction]

Niall Horan and Ryan Windsor are both destructive young adults who have been through too much. Ryan has been in the shadow of her perfect older sister all her life and yearned for the attention of someone else. She surrounded herself with others who didn't care so she wouldn't be lonely, but it just made her realize that no one really liked her. The death of Niall's mother is what caused his downward spiral. He got mixed up in the wrong crowd trying to drown the sadness that was caused by his mother's death. Both individuals are addicted to the same substance that temporarily fills some of the void in their desolate hearts. Alcohol. But the important people in their lives are tired of it and send them to get help. The two lethal individuals met at AA and were intrigued by the similarities in their lives. Soon, they figure out that they crave each other to completely fill the void in their hearts. Well, that and the hooch.
