Made by Modest!

Before I went to bed on the day we went to the restaurant, I dropped the bomb on my mother. And to my surprise, she was okay about it. She thought it was a little weird but after I told her how nice the boys are and stuff, she didn’t seem to mind. I’m an adult now, as she kept telling me. As a condition of me moving out is that I have been made to promise that I will be at the family home on Christmas day. It seemed like a small sacrifice, I actually liked being around my parents on Christmas, so I would’ve shown up whether they liked it or not.

Its two days since then and the boys leave for England tomorrow evening, and I will be going with them I think. I have to be near Niall because the story is that we have been in a relationship for a while and wouldn’t want to be apart for too long or some bullshit like that. Lucy is making us lunch while I am sitting on the sofa, watching TV and thinking about stuff. As she brings over some sandwiches, my phone rings and I see Lisa’s name pop up. I quickly answer it and press it to my ear.

“Hey” I say into the receiver

“Hello Phoebe, group skype call with you, Niall and I in 15 minutes, make sure your online” and with that the phone clicks. She hung up. I give a shocked face to my phone and then place it back on the table.

“Who was that?” Lucy questioned with a mouthful of food. I made a disgusted face at all the food in her mouth to which she shrugged.

“Lisa” I say “chatty as always” I laugh and so does she “I have a skype call with her and Niall in 15 minutes” I explain.

“Oh cool” she says “hey I was thinking”

“That can’t be good” I joke

“Shut up Phoebs, but now you have a job, we could rent a flat together somewhere?”

“That’s a great idea” I say honestly. It was a great idea, but there was one thing “where?” I finish, im going to be going around the world for a bit, but there will definitely be times when I’m ‘off duty’ and need somewhere to stay.

“That’s the bit I’m nervous about” uh oh

“Go on” I say hesitantly

“Well I got offered a really good modelling job out in England, they want me to move there”

“England?!?” I shout, it was an excited shout.

“Yeah! Why not we are young and free” she laughed

“Oh my God, are we really gunna do this?” I say hopefully to which she smiled. She knows that I'm probably going to England tomorrow with the boys so maybe I could get her on the flight out there. I help her clear the plates away and then rush upstairs and log into skype. I’m a little late logging in, so as soon as I have, I get a call. I accept it and see Niall and Lisa faces pop up in different windows.

“hello” they both said as I joined the chat

“hey guys, what are we sorting out?” I ask, Mainly to Lisa.

“Well, as you know,” Lisa started “the boys are off to England for 2 months starting tomorrow and we would expect you to go with them, do you have any objections to that?” she said pausing for my answer”

“Nope, that’s fine” Niall smiled at my response, clearly happy that I was going to be there. I could see me and Niall getting really close and I like that idea. He and the boys are obviously like brothers to each other, but it must be nice to have some outside friends, maybe I could be his outside friend.

“Perfect, a car will pick you up from your friend’s house and bring you to the airport” she began, she was about to say something else before Niall interrupted.

“Which private jet did you hire” Niall asked, he obviously realised how pretentious he sounded when he changed his question “No, no, no” he laughed “we don’t own loads of jets, but sometimes we hire from different companies, so I was wondering which company” he corrected himself to me.

“We’re taking a private jet” I ask in awe.

“Yes Phoebe focus, and I’m not sure what company Niall, gosh you are a handful” Lisa said lightly agitated while me and Niall both laughed. “When we get on the jet I shall explain some of the publicity stunts that you both will undergo, okay?” we both nod and agree “Good, any questions?”

“Actually yeah” I say nervously “would it be a complete liberty to fly my friend out on the jet with us to England” I await her response anxiously

“Why on earth would you do that?” Lisa asks, not the response I wanted.

“Well it’s just because I don’t have anywhere to live out there, all the boys have their families to go to when they have time off and I have nothing, so me and Lucy are looking to rent a place in London” I explain. It wasn’t the whole truth, I would have stayed in all expense paid, 5 star hotels if the boys were with their families, but I needed to sway her.

“So this would be a one way ticket?” Lisa said slowly

“Yes that’s all, we can pay for it if you’d like, we just wanted to be on the same flight because it’s too last minute to book standard” I’m literally biting my nails, if she says yes, it’s the start of something amazing.

“Well I don’t see a problem with that, we will arrange you paying for her flight when we are on the plane because I don’t have time now” she said, rushed.

“Oh my God, thank you so much” I squeal, Niall laughing at me.

“Is that all?” she says

“Yes that’s everything” I say, excited

“Yup” Niall adds with a smile, this kid is always smiling

Any other enquiries could be dealt with on our 10 hour flight tomorrow; that is if I don’t burst by then. We say our goodbyes quickly because Lisa always seems like she’s in a rush. We all hang up and I ear enough sprint down stairs.

“LUCY GUESS WHOS COMING TO ENGLAND WITH ME TOMORROW” I scream, the
neighbours probably hated us for getting so over excited all the time.

“AHHHHHHH” she shrieked “England, England, England” she chanted as we strut around the house giggling. I’m moving to England with my best friend. Things couldn’t get much more exciting!
