Made by Modest!

Lucy had just finished my makeup and we were sitting on the bed together scrolling through twitter, killing some time. I was mainly waiting for Harry or Niall to reply to my texts, and I was mildly horrified when they still hadn’t after a good 15 minutes.

“Isn’t it crazy?” Lucy broke the silence and pulled me away from my overthinking.

“What?” I ask with a smile, eager for her to finish her sentence.

“That after today, you won’t be scrolling through an empty twitter feed” she said and I nod in agreement. because she was right, I would be getting loads of death threats from all their fans as soon as they saw me. yay.

“I know, Lisa has created a new account for me, a clean slate if you will, so that you can’t see any of my 12 year old posts” I laugh “that reminds me, I need to log into that and follow the boys” I say, remembering previous instructions from Lisa.

“Are they able to log into that?” Lucy questions

“Yup” I say popping the ‘p’. “So don’t believe anything that’s posted up there, because it probably won’t be me” I say laughing, I’m not really bothered. It’s not like I have much of a reputation to lose is it?

Just as Lucy is about to reply, my phone buzzes and we both break our necks to look at it resting on the bed. Both of our smiles grow when we see Harry’s name written across the screen. I grab my phone hastily but then hesitate to read it. I don’t want him to think I’m desperate. Oh for God’s sake just open it.

From Harry:
How can I possibly choose without seeing you in them?

I tell Lucy what he wrote and she near enough screams. What do I do now? I think. Before I can decide what my next move is, I get a reply from Niall.

From Niall:
The black one with the cut-outs :P

I instantly reply back to Niall with a funny text, I feel more at ease with him. Maybe because I have known him longer?

To Niall:
Keep your tongue away you dog :D

I contemplate for a moment what to say to Harry. I grab the black dress with the cut-outs and slip it on. I walk towards our full length mirror and put my heels on.

“Phoebe you slut” she says jokingly as she passes me my phone. I pose sideways in the mirror so he can see the curves of my ass and boobs and snap the picture. I don’t know why I
was trying to impress him so much really. I show Lucy the picture to get her approval.

“You look hot” she says before I send the picture with the caption ‘this okay?’

“I think I’m going to wear this one” I say smiling at myself in the mirror. I wasn’t self-centred really, I had an okay figure; it was the face that bothered me.

“Good” she said happily. “I’m going to grab a snack, you want anything” she chirps before walking off to the kitchen.

“Err no I’m good” I say. I was quite nervous, and I had that thing, were the thought of eating kind of made you want to hurl. So I decided against a snack. As I sipped my glass of water my phone buzzed, and I gave a satisfied smile when I saw Harrys name.

From Harry:
Did you send that picture to anyone else?

Weird. Why did he ask that? That wasn’t exactly the response I was after, so I quickly shot back I text, I don’t care if I look thirsty.

To Harry:
No, why?

I plopped my phone down on the side, but was satisfied when he answered back just as quickly

From Harry:
Good, wear that one, see you soon x

Okay why did he have to put the ‘x’. I will be up all night trying to figure out what that ‘x’ means. He probably does it to everyone but I couldn’t help but notice all our other texts didn’t have ‘x’ at the end. So what did this one mean? Oh god look at me.

“Lucy he put an X” I said hastily as she entered the room again with a mouthful of food. I couldn’t help but augh at her panicking to swallow all the food and look at my phone. She looked at the text for a good 30 seconds then looked up to me.

“He wants to have your babies Phoebs” she said with a perfectly straight face. I love Lucy.
