College Life

The next day I avoided Harry and his friends as much as I could. One of my classes got canceled so I took an early lunch with some of my more nerdier friends.

"Hey Y/N. This is our new friend Collin." One of my firends Josh said to me. He pointed to a boy around our age with sandy blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and soft plush red lips.

"Hello." I said as I sat down.

"Hello." Collins said in a smooth deep voice. We all talk for about an hour before I realized that Harry and his friends would have lunch soon.

"Sorry guys I have to go." I said as I stood up.

"No please stay." Collins said grabbing my hand.

"I am really sorry but I must go." I said staring into his beautiful eyes.

"At least let me walk with you." I thought about it for a second and looked at his face. I knew he wouldn't take no for an answer and I had already wasted enough time if i wanted to avoid Harry and his friends.

"Alright come on." I said grabbing the rest of my things then exiting the cafeteria. We walked for a few minutes in silence.

"Where are we going?" Collins asked.

"To the bus stop. I am going home though I am not quite sure where you are walking."

"How about instead of taking the bus I drop you off at your house." He said grabbing car keys from his pocket and dangling them off of his finger. He could tell I was a little hesitant. "I know we just met but if it makes you feel better I promise I won't kidnap you. Scouts Honor." He said. I still didn't answer. "Look I promise to get you home safe and you don't have to wait for the bus. Come on this is me trying to make friends seeing at I am new here."

"Okay." I said. We walked to his car and sped off. "Right here is good." I said pointing at an area by a coffee shop.

"You live in a coffee shop?" Collins asked in all sincerity as he pulled over. I laughed at him.

"No silly but this is where my friend wanted to meet me for coffee." I said.

"Ohh." He replied. "For a minute there I was going to be really jealous." He stated making me laugh.

"Thank you for the ride. I really appreciate it." I said then started to walk towards the coffee shop.

"WILL I SEE YOU TOMORROW?" He yelled after me.

"SURE!" I yelled back making him smile. As I walked in I saw him drive away. I waited a few minutes before walking the two blocks to my flat.

As as soon as I walked through the door my phone rang I could see the caller ID was Harry so I ignored it. It rang again and again and agin until I couldn't take it anymore.

"What do you want Harry."

"I have been trying to find you all day, we need to talk about last night."

"I agree." I responded. "Last night was a mistake I got tipsy and did things I shouldn't have done. Plus you're with Sarah..."

"I am not with Sarah and last night wasn't a mistake y/n and you know it."

"What I know is that you an Sarah belong together. You both have a lot in common and you probably just want to get in my pants. I heard the rumors I know how you get girls to sleep with you but I won't be one of your conquests I'll see you in class." With my that I hung up the phone.

I did a great job at avoiding Harry and his friends even when they tried to catch me before and after class. I also went on a few unofficial dates with Collin things were going alright. After two weeks of being really good a dodging Harry Collin watched to go to the frat house party that Harry and his friends throw every now and then. I was convinced that I could avoid him because their parties usually had a lot of people.

As we entered the party I saw Harry his eyes lit up until he saw that I was here with Collin. I tried my best to avoid Hasry the rest of the night. The party dragged on and on. I decided I wasn't going to drink any alcohol that night it was a little after midnight when I ran into Sarah, someone else I had been avoiding, while looking for Collin.

"Well look who it is." Sarah said. i tried to push past her. "Whoa where do you think you're going?" As she pushed me back in front of her and her friends. "Isn't it just so sweet that she fell for Harry's tricks. The girl who swore up and down she'd never fall for him." They all laughed. "He would never actually fall for you when he had someone like me. You're not even in his league. You're just a poor, unless girl. You know you don't belong with him as you never will." She pushed back my shoulder as she walked past me. I quickly ran over and got a beer. I chugged it and then pours some shots.

"Wow I thought you weren't drinking tonight." Collin asked.

"Yeah well I changed my mind." I said as I threw back my forth or fifth shot. The world started to fade a bit which was how a needed it to be. Collin got me a cup of beer that I sipped on I finished a little less half of it before I set it down for a second and lost track of it in a sea of cups. With only ten minutes until the party was going to be shut down I searched for Collin. I made my way to the backyard as people started heading in. I felt an arm around me and turned to see Collin.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked I shook my head to signal yes. I took one step and almost fell. All of the sudden the world was spinning and I felt very nauseous. What's happening to me I thought but before I could process what was happening Collins drug me to the side of the frat house way from everyone. I could hear people get in their cars and leave. Collin threw me up against the house and started roughly kissing me.

"STOP!!" I yelled as I pushed him away from me. This was a side of him I had never seen before. "What are you doing?" I asked.

"I want you and I have waited long enough." He said crushing his lips to mine. He started to rip my clothes off. I hit him as hard as I could. He backed away holding his jaw. He spit out some blood then looked at me.

"You BITCH!!" He yelled as he back handed me to the ground. I fell on my stomach stunned at what just happened. Collin then grabbed me and flipped me over onto my back. I fought and yelled with everything that I had it Collin beat me into submission I felt so weak. "You can try to fight but you won't win you see I put a little something in your drink." By now the tears were pouring out from my eyes as he continued to rip my clothes off then all of the sudden he wasn't straddling me anymore. I looked to my right and saw a man beating Collin. Some other men ran over and pulled him off of Collin, if they wouldn't have done that there is no doubt in my mind Collin would have been beat to death. The man then turned around it was Harry. He took one look at me and his face that was full of anger and rage melted away into concern and sadness. He walked over to me and picked me up bridal style. With his strong protective arms around me I fell unconscious.

*I was back underneath Collin. I was trying to scream and yell but nothing came out. I was trying to fight but I couldn't get him off of me. My clothes started to be ripped off my body...*

"Wake up." I heard as I startled awake. I could feel the tears flow down my cheek. One eye was swollen shut and my head pounded from sitting up to fast I looked around and realized I was in an unfamiliar room. I felt a hand touch me and I flew out of the bed I was in and search frantically for the door.

"Y/n it's okay. It's just me Harry." I heard his voice knowing it was truly him and immediately calmed down. I turned around to see Harry only in his boxes standing by the bed.

"What happened? Where's Collin? Why am in your room?" I asked frantically.

"Collin tried to rape you, I found you guys after doing a quick sweep of the backyard to make sure everyone left. Right now he is with campus police until you can make your statement tomorrow morning. You're here because as soon as I picked you up to carry you inside you passed out and I wanted to make sure you were okay. So I took you up to my room after it became apparent to the police that you weren't going to wake up anytime soon and after the paramedics gave you an all clear. I put you in a long shirt because Collin ripped off a majority of your clothes. I just wanted to protect you." He finished looking at the ground.

"Thank you." I said stepping closer to him.

"You were wrong y/n you're not like the other girls. I have played around a lot but I really like you and all I ever want is for you to me happy and safe even if that means without me."

"Harry I really like you too but we are so different. You belong with the rich crowd and I belong with the poor crowd."

"That doesn't matter to me what matters to me is you. Ever since I met you your all I can think about. I know you have heard a lot about me an a lot of it is probably true but let me show you how you make me feel let me prove to you who I want to be for you. Please."

"Can you lay down with me." I asked just inches away from his body. He shook his head in agreement. I took his hands in mine and lead him back to bed. "Can you hold me please. I want to know that you are here right next to me." I asked. I felt his warm arms snake around my body pulling me close to his body. Right in that moment I felt safe in Harry's arms.
