Harry's POV
"The doctor said she's a miracle, it'll be a grueling and painful recovery but considering she fell off a water tower she's doing extraordinary. The piles of hay saved her life." Derek said making me sigh in relief.
"Thank god, when can I see her?" I asked snapping my fingers repeadily.
It had been three days since the accident and I had been going batshit crazy in the tiny waiting room.
"They just moved her upstairs, c'mon." He said smiling.
"Do yo-fuck! think shes mad st me?" I asked before stepping into the creaky elevator.
"No... You'll have to ask her." he said timidly.
"Motherfu-Katy Perry's titties!" I swore loudly whilst jerking my head rapidly making a woman gasp and scold me for exposing her child to such language.
"Mommy what are titties?" the young girl asked making her mother gasp again and glare at me in disgust.
"Nothing honey." She said before hurrying off the elevator.
"Oops..." I muttered making Derek laugh.
"Her face though!" He said through bursts of husky laughter.
We stepped off of the elevator onto fourth floor. On the way to her room we passed mourning families and critical patients. The sound of heartbreaking sobs, painful groans, and loud beeping machines filled my ears making me extremely uncomfortable.
"Go ahead Harry, I'll wait out here." Derek said nodding towards the door.
I softly knocked on the wooden door, I began to tic out of nervousness.
"Harry?" I hear her ask softly, her voice was weak.
Their were numerous tubes, wires, and machines hooked to her body. She still was my Ara, her smile still shined through darkness. The nurses were fiddling with her IV and making her comfortable.
"Hey." I replied while snapping my fingers loudly.
"Come here." She demanded.
"Can I touch her?" I asked the taller nurse.
"Gently, she's in a lot of pain." The nurse replied before leaving us alone.
I kissed her forehead with my chapped lips and rubbed her smooth cheek with my worn hand.
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't of let you go up onto that stupid water tower." I whispered into her ear before ticing away.
"Harry it wasn't your fault. Please don't blame yourself Haz." She said running her fingers through my hair soothing me.
I sat in the chair near the hospital bed holding her small hand.
"Goddamn it Arabella, you scared me." I said jerking my head.
"You know I love you right?" She asked smiling as I ran my fingers through her hair.
"I love Katy Perry's breasts- I mean I love you. Yes damn it, I just love you so much." I stuttered making her laugh.
She clutched her small side in pain as she laughed hard.
"You love me more than Katy Perry's tits?" She asked with a serious expression written on her face.
"Yes baby I think I love you more." I said before kissing her soft lips tightly.
I wanted that moment to go on forever... I never thought I'd meet someone who could deal with me the way she did. She made everything change and I never regretted letting her sit with me that first day on the bus. I never regretted going to the sunny beach with her and making memories with her. I'll never regret her and I hope she won't regret me.
