Twenty Six.
Louis
I know I shouldn't smoke marijuana as it was also a form of drugs but it wasn't damaging and if I did this while I was away from Sky, I just didn't see the damage in that. I didn't smoke it every day but today I just had the need to relax a bit and that's what it does, if you use it right and it's just one joint.
The reason I needed this was because of all the drama of lately. I mean I really like Sky and I'm proud to have her as a girlfriend but there was a lot of stuff she had to get over and sometimes I just didn't know how to deal with that and this was the reason I needed this. I did have to smile about the last 24 hours because they were amazing. I felt happy when I saw her face the moment I showed her the castle. We actually enjoyed each others company instead of yelling at each other. It was nice knowing that we could enjoy each other company like that.
I did feel shocked when I saw her yesterday morning when Louis had called me to get over to the house. Never did I expect her bleeding like that but when I saw them dragging that Lindsey girl out of the house it made sense. My girl had defended herself but it didn't look good when I saw her sitting in her bathroom and I had to take her to the hospital when she blacked out. I already expected a concussion but not a severe one, it did give me an excuse to stay over and take care of her though. I did that and never had it been more difficult because I was really tired but she couldn't sleep more then two hours. So had to wake her up multiple times that night.
It wore me out and when I woke up the next morning, she was gone. I did notice that the lid was off the pill bottle and that freaked me out for just a second until I heard the shower running. Normally I wouldn't do this but I had to check if she was still alive so I just walked into the bathroom. "Sky?" I said softly and it totally freaked her out but she still looked around the shower curtain, the way she was holding it to her body, didn't leave much to the imagination. I wasn't going to tell her that though.
"Louis, get out! Are you crazy!?" She yelled at me. I hold up my arms in surrender and got out of her bathroom still with a smirk plastered on my face. That was something, it also gave me an idea for breakfast. I was going to write little notes or clues, in the hope she would follow them. She did and scared the crap out of me as I was staring at the clouds. (It still makes me smile). She dug into the picnic basket as if her life depended on it. Damn that girl could eat and I couldn't stop myself from saying something about it so it just slipped. "You love to eat, don't you." The moment I heard myself saying that I wanted to take it back but she wasn't angry at all as she kept eating. I do love girls who eat, so that was another prove that she belonged with me and when she had strawberry juice on her lips I couldn't contain myself and kissed her but never had I expected it to get so heated, I slightly remember pulling out her hair tie so I could pull my hands through her eyes and next thing I knew I was pushing her softly on her back.
I had put my hand on her upper tight and worked my way up but only so I could touch her bare back because I know I wasn't ready for the next step with her but when the kiss was deepening I pressed to hard on her side and she cursed under her breath because I was hurting her. I let her go immediately and wanted to apologize but she put her hand over my mouth and stopped me from doing that with a slight warning and that's when we established what we were and I can finally call her my girlfriend.
My phone brought me back to the present and when I saw Lucian's number a slight panic made it's way into my heart. "Lucian?" I said and I could hear someone cry in the background but it wasn't Sky. "What's wrong?" I asked immediately. "It's Sky, she run away." I was already on my feet and I was happy that the marijuana was out of my system right now. "What happened and what do you mean she run away?" I was already running to my car and getting in. I put him on speaker."'We got news that her father was in a fatal car accident and we had to tell her this but when she heard she just walked away." Fuck, can't she get a break for once, that girl can't escape those dark clouds no matter what she tries. "Okay so what's the plan?" I asked as I drove back to the house. "We have to find her"
"How long has she been missing?' I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 6pm. "At least an hour now." And they had just called me, are they crazy. "Okay, I will pick you up at the house." We hung up and 15 minutes later we were heading back to town.
"Where could she have gone?" Lucian shrugged his shoulders. "Uhm, Maybe Jamie?" Right her trainer. "Let's pay him a visit then." We ran to the gym and were happy to actually find him there. "Lucian, Louis what's wrong?" We must have looked worried for him to assume that something was wrong. "Sky is missing, did you see her?" He shook his head. "No I haven't seen her today, do you need help finding her?" He asked worried but that wasn't necessary. "No but please keep your eyes open and call us when you see her." Lucian told him and he wished us luck.
"So as long as we are looking, can you tell me what exactly happened to her dad?" We were walking down the beach because she could really be everywhere right now. "Apparently he was heading to the airport, as he was coming to France but he got hit by a truck and was killed on the spot. I think it had to do something with that Mike, you know her ex." I nodded, I couldn't think of anything else.
After at least 3 hours of searching the beach we walked back. The nightlife was starting and I had this gut feeling that we would find her in one of the clubs. I wasn't sure of course but something just didn't feel right about this. Lucian had already called home to check if she was home but Marie told him she was not and she told him that she was already taking care of the funeral. "We have to find her Louis" Tell me something I don't know. We looked everywhere in every club and it was 11pm when we finally stood in front the last club.
"She has to be here." I was so worried by now because god knows what was happening to her by now. We walked into the club and it was packed with sweaty people. It was the perfect club to pick up a girl to take home because these girls were wasted. I've seen these kind of clubs before in England. I looked around and Lucian had gone the other way when I suddenly saw Lucian jumping up and down, probably to get my attention. I quickly made my way to him when I spotted her. She was dancing, if you could call it dancing with some bloke, who said something in her ear, and that didn't bother me, it did bother me that she gave him her most beautiful smile ever.
I made my way over to her when the guys mouth touched her. I didn't wait a minute more and pulled that guy off of her and I couldn't stop hitting him. I looked at her face and was shocked what I saw there. She was high on drugs and not soft drugs but probably XTC and I know she was pissed. Her eyes were much too big and her pupils were dilated. She was too far gone but she didn't know that she was too far gone and that made this scary.
Was this how I looked when I did drugs? Because if that's the case I think I am cured. I had to get her out of here but she wasn't going to cooperate. She tried to get out of my grip. I tried to ask what she took but she just looked at me as if she had never see me before. I could tell she was getting angry. ''Or you dance with me or just leave." she slurred and for a split second she was a bit confused as she probably didn't recognise her own voice. "Lucian, she is far more gone then I expected, we need to get her out of here." I turned my back to her for just a second, when her movement alarmed me. She tried to get away so I grabbed her arm. "Oh no you don't Sky." I said and that ticked her off. "Let go off me, I'm not doing anything wrong! I'm just dancing!" I didn't let go of her but pulled her against me and lifted her up in my arms. She went ballistic and yelled at me to put her down. "I'm getting you home."
"Louis what's wrong with her, her eyes are twitching and really big." Lucian asked me and I let out a big sigh. "She took drugs and a lot of it." Lucian was silent for a second. "She doesn't recognize us, does she?" I shook my head. "She doesn't but that's only because she can't focus right now." We had finally got her into the car, tightly buckled in. She tried to get loose but she didn't have the power to do that. We got home really fast and Lucian got out to warn Marie that we found her. "Lucian, before you go in, you have to tell her what's wrong with her before she gets into a fit." Lucian ran into the house, giving me some time with Sky. She was calmer, which was a good thing.
"Sky, will you look at me please?" She looked up surprised at me tone probably because I couldn't be mad at her for doing this. It was a bit ironic that she was the one who was brought home under the influence of drugs and I would certainty talk to her about it tomorrow. But I was curious to find out why she took the drugs. "Why did you take it?" I asked her but she shrugged and told me that she didn't take it herself. "I do know why you like it so much." When I heard her say that my hart began to beat a bit faster and I felt my temper rising because that was really below the belt.
I had to take in a deep breath before I got really mad at her. "I don't like it Sky, it's an addiction nothing more." She was silent for a minute before she told me why she liked it. "It makes me feel invincible and it makes the pain go away, who doesn't want that?" when she told me that I know why she had done it. She didn't want to feel sad anymore and she was right Drugs did make you feel better but not for long. "It's just temporally Sky." I told her with remorse and she told me that she knew that. "What's wrong with having fun for just one night?" she asked me but she didn't do it to have fun, she did it to get an escape from the real world and that's exactly what I told her. "There is nothing wrong with that but it is wrong when you try to avoid reality." She was fed up with me, you could see it in her eyes and she actually tried to give me an ultimatum but I interrupted her, which made her forget what she was trying to say.
She was angry by now and got out of the car only to almost get face planted on the ground. I could catch her just in the nick of time. I lifted her in my arms and carried her up stairs. Marie was already waiting and when I saw the scowl on her face I know this wasn't something Marie would forget over night. It was no use to punish Sky right now as she was still high so before she could get angry at Sky I stopped her.
"Just let her sleep it of Marie, I will talk to her tomorrow."

So there was a slight mix up with this chapter because this chapter had to be in Louis pov so I put the wrong chapter up but I have now restored it and just see it as an extra chapter ;)hope you liked it and let me know with a lovely comment and if you guys have any questions for me, please just ask me, I will answer and if you guys have tumblr, you can also ask me question there.
