What the hell are you doing?!
Zayn’s POV
We walked off stage, hot and tired from lack of sleep the night before. I followed Louis and Liam through the narrow walk way backstage. None of us got why so many people wanted to watch us from backstage but we went with it. I took a seat next to Perrie with a sigh and watched the rest of the guys sit down too.
“So what’re the plans for tonight?” Perrie asked in her high pitched voice that was starting to get annoying.
“All I want to do is sleep.” I heard Alex groan from next to Louis.
“Same here.” Niall and Liam mumbled together.
“You guys are so boring.” I don’t know if it’s because I was tired or I was just sick of her but she was really irritating.
“Well, half of us were up until 4:00 this morning so yea, I guess we are boring.” Even Alex was grumpy.
“Staying up that late was a decision you guys decided to make so maybe you shouldn’t be so rude.” Perrie sat forward to look at her.
“Maybe you shou-“
“Lex, shhh. Perrie, stop being mean.” Louis scolded both of them.
“Well maybe if she weren’t such a who-“ Perrie started.
“Hey! Not here.” Louis seemed really annoyed but I didn't know he was annoyed by; he was being snippy with everyone. “You can continue this later.”
“If you must.” I spoke under my breath as Paul walked over to us.
“Hey, hows everyone feeling?” He asked and we all shrugged. “That’s good, I hope. You guys have the rest of today off.”
“Sweet.” Louis looked down at Alex was she rested her head on his shoulder and talked. “Can we just go back to the hotel for like an hour and nap?”
“Yea, if nobody else wants to, I’ll stay with you.” He kissed her forehead before glaring at me.
Great, now he’s mad at me.
Alex’s POV
“Alex, it’s time to get up.” Louis was whispering in my ear and rubbing my shoulder.
“5 more minutes” I pleaded, snuggling closer to him.
“You said that 20 minutes ago, come on. We have plans tonight.” He cooed trying to get me up but I ignored him. “I’ll even let you argue with Perrie.”
“I don’t want to argue with her, she has some grudge against me and I honestly don’t care what it is.” I was already wide-awake; just hearing her name made me annoyed. “But fine, I’ already awake.”
“Yay, my girl is outta bed.” He cheered but I knew it was fake; he was acting weird today.
“What’s going on with you today?” I asked sitting up.
“Harry slept in the same bed as me and when I woke up, I had my arm around him and my body right against his.” He looked so confused by what he was saying.
“Do you guys have feelings for each other?” He shook his head and looked away. “Then what’s wrong? You cuddled in your sleep, so what?”
“I cuddled with A GUY, in my sleep. I’m not gay…I don’t like him like that…” He seemed mad at himself.
“Louis, I know. You’ve always been bi, I didn't forget.” I touched his shoulder. “And even if you were, I’d still accept you.”
“Thanks Lex.” He smiled and stood up while I did the same.
I looked around the room for my over shirt and found it laying on the chair where my bag was. He watched me walk over and put it on. When I turned around, he was looking at my body with a devious look. I shrugged it off and slipped my shoes on before heading for the door.
“Alex” He mumbled my name from behind me so I turned around and came face-to-face with him.
“Whoa, why’re you so close to me?” I asked.
He didn't say anything, just leaned forward and kissed me, not like a normal kiss but tongue and everything. I pushed him back and looked into his eyes.
“What the hell are you doing?!”
“I just wanted to prove that I’m not gay.” His eyes were filling with tears.
“Who are you trying to prove it to, me or you?” I opened the door, walked out and slammed it behind me.
