The Hipsters and The Girl
Don't even think about it.
Alex’s POV
My body was insanely sore from the workout I did with Niall the day before. I looked at myself in the floor length mirror and smiled. These jeans are by far my favorite and I love this top! It’s going to be a good day.
“Alex?” A deep, raspy voice asked from the other side of the door as he knocked. “Are you dressed?”
“Yea, come in.” I turned around and watched the door open to reveal Harry.
I smiled seeing his disheveled curls draped across his forehead and a plaid shirt in his hand. He looked down at his clothes and then back at me.
“Why’re you looking at me like that?” He looked genuinely confused by my eyes wandering over him.
“You need a haircut Styles.” I stepped forward and touched his curls.
“Don’t even think about it.” He shook his head and backed up. “I like my hair just the way it is.”
“So do I but seriously you need a haircut.” I laughed and reached for his hair again, this time I successfully ran my fingers through it. “Just a trim at least.”
“Fine but you have to go with me.” He sighed and looked at the coffee in his hand. “Do you want a cup?”
“Sure.” I shrugged and looked down at his clothes. “You look extra hipster-ish today. What’s the occasion?”
“What’re you talking about?” He scoffed.
“I mean you look nice so what’s going on?” His eyes wouldn’t meet mine until I poked his arm. “Come on Styles, tell me.”
He sighed and looked into my eyes. I knew he was hiding something; his eyes didn't look right.
“I’m going out to lunch with someone.” A smile pushed on his cheeks, teasing at his dimples.
“With who?” I poked his arm again and reached for his coffee. “Do you mind?”
“Go ahead. And I’m going with Christina.” The blush that crossed his cheeks when he said her name made me happy.
“Really? You're going out with her? Finally!” I sighed with a smile. “She’s a great girl from what I’ve seen.”
“I hope she is.”
I took a drink of his coffee and handed it back. His hands fiddled with the cup while I looked in the mirror again before turning to him again. We looked at each other again and he handed the cup to me with a genuine smile.
“You can have the rest, that’s my second cup.” He shrugged while putting his flannel on.
“Thanks.” I smiled and looked at his clothes and then his eyes. “You look nice Styles, I hope you have a nice lunch.”
“Thanks Lex.” He turned toward the door and walked out with me following behind him.
Louis’s POV
“You're stubborn.” Alex complained with a smile.
“You should know that by now.” I joked back. “Come on, loosen up a little babe.”
“Loosen up my ass, you want me to flat out give up.” She crossed her arms over her chest.
I gave her my best puppy-dog face and saw a smile teasing at her lips before her eyes darted away from me. My hands landed on her hips and pulled her closer until she pushed me away.
“Please?” I was almost begging.
“Fine, I’ll go with you.” She shook her head and looked down at her bare feet. “But only if you go get me my shoes.”
I nodded and turned toward the door and then realized I didn't have shoes on either. She started giggling, noticing the same thing, I turned around and flipped her off before shrugging and leaving the cool, tiled floor.
