Our first place music video was to a song I wrote. It was called Rock Star (originally by Hannah Montana but for story I wrote it).
We, I mean they, ran around. I got to videotape. We asked the nurses if we could dance around the hallways and videotape. They said it was fine if we didn't get in the way. They dressed in fancy clothes and walked around.
The first part was my favorite. The song says, " Sometimes I walk a little faster In the school hallway just to get next to you Some days I spend a little extra time In the morning just to impress you." Quinn was walking down the hallway slowly and Abbi practically ran to catch up to him and when she did she jumped on his back. Then we showed Abbi in the bathroom doing her hair and then opening the door and seeing Quinn. That music video was based on them but most of us were in it.
The third place video was to a different song I wrote. It was called Heard it on the Radio (originally by Ross Lynch but for story I wrote it).
We started with a radio. The song started and we slowly zoomed out. Everyone was sitting on the couches and chairs. They were just laying there and then when the music started playing and the camera zoomed out to them they got up. They started dancing around. Then we went to other patients rooms and danced around, with their permission of course. Some patients got up and danced and some just sat in bed and danced.
I was in that one. I danced around a little but my doctor yelled at me. We also had that in the video. We stopped the music when he yelled and then I looked at the camera with an innocent look. They turned the music back on and I kept dancing.
Our fourth place music video was based on another song I wrote called One Way or Another (originally by Blondie but for story I wrote it).
I liked this one a lot and I thought I deserved first place. We were running around the hospital looking for each other. At one point the lyrics said, " I'll walk down the mall. Stand over by the wall. Where I can see it all. Find out who ya call." They walked over to the mall and Mara leaned against the wall. She looked around for Jake, who everyone was looking for throughout the video. She saw him and ran after him.
The fifth place video was based on the song Little Things (originally by One Direction but for story I wrote it).
The song was basically just about a bunch of little things that make a person them. So we kind of made fun of this song, even though I wrote it. My favorite part was when all the girls dressed up super fancy. They sat around a table with a tea party set.
The song says, " You can't go to bed without a cup of tea. Maybe that's the reason that you talk in your sleep." They all sipped their tea and then laid down. You could see there lips moving as they were singing the song and sleeping. It was really funny and really hard to shoot because everyone kept laughing. Isaac had to cover my mouth to stop me from laughing.
The last music video we did was based on the song that I wrote called Catch My Breath (originally by Kelly Clarkson but for story I wrote it).
Half of the video was us running and then catching our breath or doing something physically active. Except me, who had to sit there and not run around, everyone got to be in it and run around. It was good but I didn't really think it deserved anything either.
