I laid on the massive bed with my ankles crossed, flicking through the TV channels. It was getting to about half past five in the evening and I was beginning to get hungry. I decided to call room service, because I was already in pyjamas and I wasn’t going to pretty myself up and go down to the restaurant now.

I picked up the phone and clicked on the speed dial button labelled ‘Room Service’.
“Hello can I have a large margherita pizza and diet coke please…. Erm and chocolate brownie…. Thank you” I hung up I was in a pizza mood. To be honest I was always in a pizza mood. I was just sitting back down when my phone buzzed.

From Terrence:

You have a laptop in your case. Log into the following skype account:
Username: JennyWhite5678
Password: Terrenceisthebest

Terrence is the best, really, so childish. I walk over to my case that was delivered about 15 minutes ago. I haven’t yet looked inside. What lies in this case will be what they expect me to wear day in day out and I was worried to say the least. I’m not really into fashion, I’m way more about comfort and I spend most of my time in training clothes, or ‘ninja suits’ as the guys on the team would say. When I open the case I see jeans upon jeans that look way too tight along with pretty cropped tops and dresses that are too short for my liking. We will be talking about this in our skype call, I don’t see what’s wrong with sweatpants.

I opened up the laptop to see that it was password locked, I wasn’t surprised when it unlocked to the password ‘Terrenceisthebest’. I then opened up skype and logged in. I almost instantly got a call from Terrence.

“Terrence is the best on the laptop as well” I greeted him with a straight face

“Hello to you to Jenifer, and you can’t hide the truth my dear” he replied with a smug look and I laughed a bit.

“Still getting used to that name, anyway, how do I decipher this code” I questioned him. He explained an over complicated method of decoding and then went over it several times until I got the hang of it.


“So my first task is to ‘bump into the boys’? What do you mean bump into the biggest band on the planet?” I ask him in complete confusion.

“We didn’t put you in that fancy hotel because we like you Jen, One Direction are staying in that hotel as well, until Wednesday.” He responded confidently, I intended to brush over the insult and question the more serious topic.

“So I only have until Wednesday to bump into them and catch their attention? Then what, after I see them what do I do to get close to them” I ask I was starting to panic, they meet fans every day and not one of them fans has become close enough friends to see them every single day. How was I supposed to catch their eye if I wasn’t even allowed to be more than acquaintances, oh this is hard.

“Do what it takes Jen, be a crazed fan; be a shoulder to cry on. This part of the mission is your call, as long as it gives you access to their life on a daily basis, I don’t really care what you do” he said, it may seem harsh but Terrence had always been firm.

“Okay, I’ll start tomorrow morning. Second thing I wanted to ask was, what’s with the clothes” I asked in minor disgust.

“There fashionable Jenny” he said with a laugh “better get used to them, Jenifer wears that sort of stuff.” I went to say something but he cut me off “Olivia may not have worn them, but Jenifer does okay? You need to be in character dear” he gave me a genuine smile “get a good night sleep tonight, keep me updated on your status with one direction good luck Jenifer”

“Bye Terrence” I smiled back and clicked the end call button. I guess I will just have to get used to those clothes.

Someone just knocked at the door and I assume it was room service. I get up, answer the door and beam a smile when I see the large pizza box. I thank the man and sit back on my bed to eat.

After I’ve finished eating I decide to go on a bit of an adventure around the hotel, yes in my pyjamas but who cares right? I was a bit worried about the fact I only had until Wednesday to meet the boys and came to the conclusion that I’m never going to meet them if I’m sitting round in my room. The more I expose myself, the more likely it is to bump into them. My phone buzzes just as I get out of the door.

From Chris:

The team have hacked the receptionist computers, you’re staying on the same floor as the boys.

This is good news! Narrows it down a bit, so I shoot him back a quick text

To Chris:

Hopefully that’ll make things easier because this place is massive. I’ll wander around our floor’s hallways for a bit then.

He swiftly replied again

From Chris:

Sounds like a plan!

I slipped my phone back into my pocket and started exploring the hallways.
