Rock Me
You're so London, your own style.
The plane ride was 3 hours long and by the time I got off I had serious jet lag. I was standing in the British Airways airport looking around for my dad. Someone grabs me from behind and hugs me.
"Ahhh!" I squeal.
"Hey sunshine!" My dad exclaims.
I turn around and hug him.
"I've missed you so much!" He says, "You're all grown up!"
I laugh, "Well I am 16 now."
"I know, I feel so guilty for not being at your 16th birthday, but I was tied up with work and all. I'm sorry." He explains.
"Oh, I understand," I reply.
He takes my luggage from me and leads me to his car. It's a red convertable. He places my luggage in the back and watches me closely.
"Would you like to drive?" He offers.
"Oh, no, I couldn't! This car is too nice. I might scratch it." I decline.
"No it's fine. C'mon. I'll tell you the directions so you don't get lost."
"Well...okay." I give in to the temptation and slide into the front seat. I start the engine and hear the car roar to life. I loved the feeling. My dad directed me until we reached his house. The house was more like a mansion, in a nice sort of secluded area too.
"Oh my-" I start.
"what?" My dad asks.
"your house! It's massive!"
"You mean our house." He says, "how did you like the car?"
"I LOVE it!" I gush.
"Great, because its yours." He says.
"What? No way!"
"Happy late birthday sunshine!" He replies pulling me in for a hug.

I finished unpacking about and hour ago. Now I am relaxing in my beautiful bedroom. The walls are a serene blue with white accessories. I had a great view except for one window that showed a bedroom in the house next to mine. I stared at the room for a while. It looked like a boys bedroom. I found myself drifting off in though. Maybe they had some kids my age and I would actually have friends. I suddenly realized that a pair of beautiful green eyes were staring back at me. A boy only a little older than me poked his head out of the window.
"Hasn't anyone told you that it's rude to stare?" He asks in a
