Never Enough

I unlocked my door and opened it into quite a large room. My parents didn’t tell me it was going to be this nice, I mean I know it cost a lot to come here, but this was so pretty. There were two big double beds pressed to each side of the room and a bedside table by each one. The room was quite bare at the moment but had room for us to hang photos and posters. There were two large desks for us to work on with nice plush chairs tucked underneath them. I looked to other side a saw a closed door I assume which lead to the bathroom. There was no sight of my roommate yet. Just as decided to take a quick look in the bathroom a girl came bursting out, singing a song.

“She caught me red handed creeping with the girl next door… picture this” she came to an abrupt stop when she noticed me. She had long blonde hair and was really pretty and then it clicked, that was my cousin. My jaw dropped as she brought me in for a hug.

“DAISSYYY!!!” she exclaimed

“Rosie” I said, I was honestly a little choked up at the sight of my beautiful cousin.

I hadn’t seen her or spoken to her since we were 6. Our parents had a bit of a falling out that Rosie and I knew nothing about, and we just were never able to get each other’s numbers or anything, I honestly thought this girl lived in Spain for God sakes.
So I probably don’t need to tell you that we caught up on everything. Basically her mother got a really good job opportunity and had to more to England about 5 years ago and they have live here ever since.

“I can’t believe we’re roommates now Rosie! I don’t think you understand how much it means for you to be here with me” I said while making my bed, the tears started to brim over my eyelids and mess up my mascara big time. But I figured I should probably just roll with the emotions and let it all out, I just left behind by childhood and I haven’t really cried about it yet, let alone share my feelings with someone who I was close to. I let it all out as she embraced me.

“Oh don’t cry honey, I’m happy to have you back Daiz” she kept hugging me tight and saying comforting things to me, which is 100% what I needed right now. I’m happy to say that Rosie hasn’t changed a bit, she has always been super caring and innocent but trust me this girl has a crazy side I can just tell! I told her all about my life at my old school, the people I liked the people I didn’t like and she did the same. Just as we were stalking people on Instagram I got a text.

From Mum:
Okay darling, I hope you settle in well and we will see you very soon
Love you xxx

Well at least she bothered to text back. I’ll call her soon and catch up but I’m not really in the mood for reminders on America right now. Rosie barely had her American accent anymore and it was now mixed up with Spanish and English. As I slipped my phone into the back pocket of my jeans, there was a firm knock at the door. Rosie sprung up and gave me a confused look. She opened the door.

“Oh hi Harry, hi Niall” she said bringing both the boys into a hug, she knew them??
I moved up to stand beside Rosie and I greeted the boys.

“Hey daisy, we’re going to a party tonight and was wondering if you Rosie wanted to come?” Niall asked hopefully.

I wasn’t really in the mood for parties but before I could answer Rosie had accepted.

“Yeah we would love that” despite my hesitance I nodded along I guess I needed some fun, even if it was forced into me.

“Great, we’ll swing past at 8” Niall said, the whole time Harry’s eyes were burning into my body with a smirk held on his face, it was making me kinda uncomfortable because of how good looking he was so I decided to wrap this conversation up. Wait so good looking, Gosh Daisy snap out of it.

“See you then” I replied
