Harry POV –
Harry had felt like there was something going on with Penny, but he didn’t want to pry too deep and break her down even more. She seemed to be brightening up, but there was still that subtle sadness in her eyes.
He looked up at the clock that hung on the wall in the studio, he had to get home. He had gotten carried away writing and lost track of time. It was New Years Eve and the boys were doing a special event in Los Angeles. Harry slid out of the chair and made his way out of the studio and into the fading sunlight. It was almost dark, Penny was going to kill him. He drove home quickly, but cautiously.
Once he’d reached the hotel, he went inside and straight up to their room. He opened the door to see a frantic Penny. “Where were you? We’re going to be late Harry and I haven’t even had my hair done and Lou said she needed me there early and now everything just gone to shit.” She said in a pitiful voice. Harry couldn’t stop the smile that was tugging at his lips. He had to smile, she was cute when she panicked.
“Babe, it’s fine. It’s all fine, I just spoke to Lou on the drive over and she’s coming here right now. Calm yourself love, it’ll all be fine.” He said reassuring her with an embrace. He kissed her soft hair and then pulled her chin up some so that she was looking into his eyes.
“Okay.” She said with a sly smile. Things had been great in the past couple weeks. It was almost as though they were back to normal.
After about 45 minutes of hair and makeup, Penny was ready to go. She looked incredible.
Her dress was tight to her body, a black long sleeved dress with sparkling gold pinstripes. Her hair was in curls, her feet in a pair of chunky black heels, and a perfectly sculpted pout on her lips.
“What?” She asked after Harry had stared at her for a moment longer than usual.
“You’re truly a work of art Penelope.” His low voice was soft as he spoke, his eyes looking at her longingly, was it possible to fall in love with someone all over again with no real reason? She was just standing there, but he felt overcome with emotion. Harry had always been a bit sensitive and being a being a natural flirt it was hard for him not to have a little soft side to him. He loved making people smile and giving his all for his fans, of course he had so much love to give to his family.
“Thank you…” She said before diverting her eyes, was she nervous?
“We should get married.” He said as he stood up. Lou, who had been styling his hair stepped back once he moved up. She placed her hand on her heart and her jaw dropped.
Penny bit her bottom lip, looking down at Harry as he took a knee, he pulled a box from his pocket and held it out in front of her. “Seriously.” He said before he opened it.
Penny’s eyes lit up as she saw the ring, it was dazzling and gorgeous. She nodded her head as he stood up, she was fighting the tears that were in her eyes, he could tell she was trying not to absolutely ruin her eye makeup.
He slid the ring on her finger and then pulled her to him for a kiss, throwing makeup woes to the wind.
“This is wonderful you guys! But get off her, you know how expensive that lipstick is?!” Lou said as she walked back over to Penny so she could fix her makeup.
“Party pooper. Don’t tell anyone Lou, I’m going to announce it myself, if that’s all right with you love?” He said as he looked over at his beautiful bride to be.
“Yes, absolutely fine babe.” Her eyes hadn’t left the ring. Harry felt like he had done good.

This is honestly a filler, but a pretty pivotal one for the story.
I am sorry it's taking me so long to update, I'm getting adjusted to some new medication and I have too many ideas in my head to focus. Thanks for reading though, I honestly appreciate it.
