Taking Europe
Beach
Rachel's P.O.V.
I stretched in my seat, excited at the prospect of only another two hours on the plane. Though I would be seriously jetlagged. Overall the flight from Sydney to Malaga was 27 hours long - something I was most definitely not used to. It was going to be worth it though, I was sure.
Once we had finished our HSE's my friends and I had taken off for Europe. We had a summer planned with different places to travel, different things to see. This was going to be our last summer together before we all went our separate ways so we had to make it count.
We were going to Malaga on the south coast of Spain first to a nice holiday resort. We would be staying there for three weeks to rest up and relax a bit before taking off travelling. We already had an RV booked for rent that could fit us all to travel around with.
To say I was excited would be an understatement. I had bought a new journal especially to record everything that happened on this trip and told everyone they weren't to lay a finger on it. I had been keeping diaries for years and used them to express my most inner thoughts.
I glanced around the plane at my friends. Calum, beside me was snoring lightly while Ashton who was sitting on my other side had his earphones in, his eyes closed as he hummed softly.
Sierra was sitting with Dakota , chatting excitedly two rows ahead of us and Michael, Luke and Melanie were a few rows behind.
I couldn't help but smile to myself as I relaxed back into my seat. This was gonna be good. I was sure if it.
"This room is amazing! Look at the view!" I exclaimed, on the balcony of our apartment in the Sunset Beach Hotel in Malaga. Melanie, Dakota, Sierra and I were in one apartment while the boys were in another. The apartments were small but were rather affordable and from our small balcony had a gorgeous view of the ocean.
"Rach shh.. I need to sleep" Dakota groaned, laying on the couch. I couldn't blame her, we were all completely jetlagged and exhausted but it was only 5pm here in Spain so I was going to try stay awake as long as I couldn't to get used to the time zone. Though I had a feeling it wouldn't be easy.
"I think I'm gonna take a walk on the beach, any of you want to join me?" I offered. Dakota shook her head while Sierra just sat down on the couch where we could. "I'd love to Rach but I'm too tired" she mumbled.
"Mel?" I asked hopefully, not wanting to go alone. Though I could always get one of the boys to come with me. However Melanie nodded, looking tired but smiling nonetheless.
"Sure, the beach looks amazing, a walk migjt wake me uo a little" she agreed. And so we headed on with the intention to stop at the boys room and ask if anyone wanted to come with us.
