Will it, Won't it?

I am still here sitting beside her it has been four days and still nothing no change, nothing. I check on Eliza every day and she is getting much better thank god, soon she will be able to breathe on her own. I sing to her when the nurses are gone that is and then I go and check on her, so right now I am in-between two of my favourite girls. I am sitting next to her and see an envelope with my name on it so I pick it up and start to read.

You are my best friend you have always stuck by me through everything from the good to the bad and for that I am forever grateful.
The time and special moments we have shared I will hold in my heart forever and carry with me wherever I go.
Thank you isn't enough to express how grateful I am to have known you and love you.

But I also need to apologise, I am so sorry Ni. I pushed you away when you didn't deserve it. But now I am somewhere else watching over you, and our baby and I am so glad you have a little piece of me I know deep down in my heart you are going to be an amazing father. I love you so much and I guess I'll see you again someday.

Right here, right now she is dying? And she knew. NO this can't happen I grab her hand.
"Hey listen to me, you don't get to give up ok we all need you Eliza needs you and I need you please I know how much strength you have so keep fighting please" I whisper and let a few tear drops. I sit there for a bit more it's only me at the hospital right now which I'm kind of glad just to be the two of us. The nurse then knocks on the door and comes up to me "Mr Horan would you like to come with me please?" she says and I immediately get up and she leads me to Eliza's nursery what is going on I pray to god she is ok. I walk in and another nurse is holding her, "Would dad like a turn?" she turns and faces me and I nod my head. I hold Eliza in my arms she is so tiny and sit on the chair, "we will give you guys some time" the nurse says and walks out.
"Hi baby girl, I'm your dad" I say looking into her sleepy blue eyes.
"Your daddy's princess" I kiss her forehead lightly and she lets out the cutest yawn.
"I love you so much."

I then start singing to her

"Lets go say hi to mummy" I get up and slowly walk over to the room.

"Hey love someone wanted to say hello" I sit down, "that's your mummy Eliza, can you say hi mummy?" I chuckle and cradle her in my arms.
