My Baby's Daddy (L.R.H)

Chapter four
“Kit-“ His jaw dropped.

“What the fuck!” He stormed over to the bed side and looked down at my stomach with bug eyes. He pointed to it.

“Is that a baby? Or your big breakfast?” Mom put her hand on his chest.

“Ashton, calm down, you’re going to scare her.” I pulled my top down.

“It’s a baby, Ashton.” He left out a frustrated grunt. I could feel the other boys’ eyes on me. I met each of their eyes. Michael and Calum were surprised, And Luke was worried with a mixture of fear.

“Who? How? When? Where?” I slightly giggled at his flustered response.

“Um... I think he should tell you. It’s not my place. And, I think you know how baby’s come into the world, Ash… 4 months ago, and it was at his hotel room in England.” I quickly met Luke’s gaze. His eye’s bugged, He was scared shitless. Especially since Ashton was furious.

“Well, give me this douchebag’s number and I’m going to call him and give him a piece of my mind. Maybe if he’s close I’ll give him a fist to the face too!” Luke slowly backed up and I could hear him running down the stairs. Mum and I knew why he ran, But his action’s left the 3 other boys standing in the room confused.

“What’s his issues?” Calum said peeping his head out the door. I could hear the front door slam shut. Luke left…

“Well Kitty, I’m waiting. May I please have the dickweed’s phone number?” He held out his hand, his phone was resting in his palm. I sighed and motioned for Ashton’s phone. He handed it to me and I typed it in. I dialed it and handed it to Ashton. I could see the surprise when Luke answered the phone. His face turned red and the veins on his neck bulged.

“LUCUS ROBERT HEMMINGS! GET YOUR SORRY ASS BACK HERE NOW!” He immediately hung the phone up and slammed in onto my desk. I could see the utter shock on my mother’s face.

“Ashton, go easy on him. He didn’t know that Kitty was your sister, and Kitty didn’t even know that Luke was your friend. Don’t do anything you’ll regret.” She knelt down to his level and looked him in the eyes. He looked helpless.

“I know I’m sorry.” He looked up at me. A small tear rolled down his cheek. Mum noticed and pulled him in her tight embrace. I stood up from my spot on the bed and walked over to him as well.

“Ash, I was planning to tell you. I truly was. But I was scared. I knew if I told you Luke knocked me up that you would beat him up or kick me out or something!” He stood up and looked down at me. His tears were gone and his face was serious.

“Kathryn Rose Irwin, I would never kick you out. You can trust me on that. I also wouldn’t beat up my best friends, unless it’s for a good reason.” I smiled. He pulled me into a bear hug. We all filed out of the room and down the stairs. Luke was sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. When Ashton flopped down on the couch, we could all tell that Luke tensed up.

“Hey,” Ashton said “I’m sorry for overreacting earlier. I shouldn’t have. It’s none of my business about what happened between you and Kitty. But I do know if you break my little sister’s heart, I’m going to break your face or something.” Luke looked up at him. His face was puffy and red, he was crying.

“So you’re not mad?” Luke said with a hiccup.

“Hemmings, don’t get me wrong I’m fuming. But it’s not called for to beat up my best friend over something I can’t control.” Luke loosened up a bit. I smiled and he met my gaze.

“I’m sorry Kitty. For getting you pregnant.”

“It’s OK as long as you don’t give up on us.” I said placing my hand over my stomach. Everyone smiled.

“I better get back to Lauren and Harry. They’ll be wondering where I am.” Mum said getting up and grabbing her purse.

“Mum, can you not tell them yet? I want to be able to tell them.” She nodded and kissed my head along with Michael, Luke Calum and Ashton.

“Bye Mama Irwin! Thanks for breakfast!” Calum said.

“Yeah! Breakfast was the bomb!” Michael chimed in. Mum chuckled and waved before walking out the door. I could feel the tension in the room.

“So…” I said looking at the floor.

“So…” Michael mocked.

“What do you guys want to do today?” Ashton asked.

“I want to stay home and be lazy.” I said flopping back on the couch.

“Sounds good to be!”

“Feels good to me!” Michael said laying down on the couch and resting his head on the arms.

“Want to watch a movie?” Calum suggested.

“Sure! What movie?”

“Um.. How about, Jurassic Word?”

“Saw it!”

“Fast and furious 7?” Michael said getting up and fishing for the case In the TV stand.

“Sure! But don’t spoil it if any of you seen it yet!” Michael looked up.

“Saw it as soon as I got my license.” I rolled my eyes.

“I’m pretty sure you’re the reckless one. Aren’t you?”

“Hey! We’re all pretty reckless! It’s not just Michael!” Calum said. Michael sat back down as the credit’s rolled.

“OK all of you shut up! I want to watch this with no interruptions!”

“Yes ma’am!” Ashton said mockingly. I rolled my eyes and settled in the fluffy couch.

I have a good feeling I’m going to like it here…
