The girl all the bad guys want // EDITING //

From the voice mail that Luke left me, it sounded like he needed me quickly. So I ran as fast as I could over to his house. When I got there, he was standing outside, pacing up and down.

"Luke what's wrong?" I questioned, panicked. He looked at me with a sad expression.

"How do you ask girls to the prom?" He replied.

I was a little frustrated that he called me all the way over here at 7 in the morning to ask me that.

"You had me worried you idiot." I smacked the back of his head.

"Sorry Cal." He apologised with a slight smile.

"Its that Dreyton girl, isn't it?" He nodded and sat on the porch step. I sat next to him and got my phone out.

"What are you doing?" Luke asked, curiously.

"You'll see." I sent a quick message to Dreyton, telling her to get over here right now.

Luke looked worried for a few seconds but eventually shrugged it off. It was a few minutes before I saw Drey walk up the drive, greeting us with a frown.

"Cal, what the hell? Why's Drey here?" Luke exclaimed, smacking my arm hard.

"Yeah what am I doing here?" They both looked at me for answers.

"Luke was wondering if you wanted to go to junior prom with him." I explained.

Surprisingly, her expression didn't change, not one little bit. She walked up to Luke and gave him a big hug.

"I dont understand." She began. "This isn't how its supposed to happen. This isn't one of those amazing bad boy, good girl stories. This isn't a movie. Its not how this goes." She said quietly.

He held her close to him and for one second, it felt like Luke had finally found the missing piece of him.

"I know and I dont care. It doesn't matter how its Supposed to go' all I care about is that you and I are together." He kissed her forehead gently and she looked back at me.

"I'm not watching. Go ahead." I looked away but still peeked out of the corner of my eye.

Luke gave Drey a loving, passionate kiss and it reminded me of when I first met Missi. We were like that. Love at first sight. We knew we were meant for each other as soon as our eyes met and I think that's what's happened for these two.

Luke was one of my best friends and I wanted the best fir him. I may not particularly like her but as long as he does, I'll be happy.

"c'mon guys. We gotta get to school." I said when they finally broke apart. They both stood staring at each other with the biggest grins on their faces.

We all gathered our bags and books before heading to school. When we got there, the parking lot was empty, apart from the 2 cars. When we got inside, about 20 party poppers went off. It came from the main hall. Are and Luke were behind me, holding hands as we entered the hall. Suddenly we were surrounded by Michael, Ashton and some other kids who went to our school, including Missi, who ran straight towards me and hugged me tight.

"What's going on here?" I asked her.

"School wasn't on today, its a teacher training course day thingy." She smiled. "so we decided to throw a party for the new couple in school."

"Who's the new couple?" Luke questioned.

"Michael and Dreyton of course."
