The girl all the bad guys want // EDITING //

----------- 6 months after------------

~Calum's p.o.v~
Our baby was to be born any day now. We had everything ready. A nursery, Toys, outfits. We wanted the baby's gender to be a surprise so we decided to get white baby clothes instead of pink or blue just in case. Missi, Luke and I were hanging out in the front room watching TV and eating leftover pizza from yesterday. Since we'd left school now there wasn't really much to do. I took Missi to her hospital appointments, My mom and I went shopping and got everything prepared for the baby. That was pretty much all I did for the past 4 months since we left school.

Luke and Ash have been round but I haven't heard from Mikey or Drey since they moved to a different part of Sydney. Drey's family moved there and she was forced to go too and Michael didn't want to be here want to be here without her and have to drive 100 miles every time he wanted to go see her. I also heard that Karmen is now a successful underwear model for a fashion magazine. They seemed so happy in the months that have gone by. I hoped Mikey and Drey would come visit us either before or after the baby was born.

"Hey Cal, can you grab me another coke?" Luke asked, holding his empty can out for me to take.

Luke's got lazier and even stopped shaving. He now had hints of a beard scattering his chin. He decided that the quiff he had once had didn't suit him anymore either so he got his hair completely restyled. Ash has helped quite a lot with all the jobs I had to do. Like driving me to stores and band rehearsals. Continuing with the band was difficult with Mikey gone. Luke had to learn to play guitar to fill in Michael's bits. We had written a whole new album and we were ready to release it soon.

I sighed and took the can from his hand, walking into the kitchen. Suddenly, I heard a loud shout. It was Missi. I sprinted back into the front room to see Missi on the floor, Luke knelt beside her, holding her hand. I didn't mind though. He was relaxing her.

"I think its the baby." She panted, breathing extremely heavily.

"Dont worry babe, we'll get you to the hospital." I hushed, running my hand through her hair.

"I'll call an ambulance." Luke said standing up.

The ambulance got to the house pretty fast. I carried Missi out the door bridal style and placed her down on the bed that paramedics were surrounding. They put an oxygen mask around her face and Lifted her into the vehicle.

They let me climb in the back with her and I squeezed her hand tight the whole way there. Luke said he was going to meet us at the hospital shortly because he had something to do first. I would have been annoyed at him for leaving me in a time like this but I couldn't help but be distracted by my girlfriend who was about to give birth to our first child.

"You're amazing baby.you can do this." I whispered to her, pressing my lips to her forehead quickly before they lowered her out of the ambulance and wheeled her bed into the Emergency room.

I waited outside in the waiting area, pacing up and down whilst running my fingers through my hair. She was going to be okay... right?

Missi was strong, she could get through this. I knew it. When they'd finally let me into her room, I went straight towards her, sat in the chair beside the bad and held her hand tight as she screamed in agony. Her fingernails were digging into my skin, causing me to bleed but I didn't care. I needed to know she was gonna be alright.

She started to cry out louder and louder. I stayed put the whole time for about 2 hours and thats when she finally let go. I held our baby boy in my arms, cradling him and holding him close to my chest. I could feel his little heartbeat as tears streamed down my face.

"I wont forget you Missi. I promise..."

~Drey's p.o.v~
We were lucky to have been where we were when luke called. He said Missi was about to go into labour. So Michael and I rushed from his parents house to the hospital which was only about and hour away. Once we got there we saw Luke, who had changed drastically over these past few months. He was no longer pretty boy Luke. He now looked really grown up. I ran up to him and hugged him tight. I hadn't seen him since the end of high school. And I had missed him. I missed them all.

Once we had all caught up, we stood in the waiting area. The suspense was killing us as we waited for a doctor to come and tell us what was going on. Ashton arrived just before Calum walked out, tears soaking his face.

"What happened mate?" Ash questioned for all of us who were thinking the worst.

"Missi... She didn't make it." He sobbed.

My eyes started to well up as the tears rolled down my face. I walked up to Calum and wrapped my arms around his neck tight. We both sobbed into each others shoulders as Ash, Mikey and Luke all stood there with heartbroken expressions plastered on their faces. I couldn't believe it. Calum had lost his love, The baby had lost its mom and I had lost my best friend.
