Its been a couple days since i've seen Drey or Ashton. Ashton's mom texted me saying that they were on vacation so he wouldn't be back for a while apparently. But I knew Ash better than that. He wouldn't go on a last minute trip to somewhere for 2 months. He would have fought strongly against not telling us before he left so it was highly unlikely of him to go anywhere without us knowing.

Luke hasn't been to school since the day he found out the truth of Drey. The last thing I expected was for her to do what she did. I thought that her and Luke were meant for each other, especially from what I witnessed a few days back. It was upsetting to see everyone so down about this. I liked Drey but she was breaking the hearts of my friends and that's not something you do if you care about someone.

Michael pretends to be fine about the situation but he's obviously depressed about it. That was it. I was calling her and asking what the hell she thought she was doing. What was going through her mind when she decided to hurt my friends. I dialled her number and listened to the dial tone for a minute before a voice answered, but it wasn't her's.

"Hello?" A familiar voice spoke, tiredly.

"Luke? Why do you have Drey's phone?" I exclaimed, confused.

"Well, she left it at mine the day she left. And I kinda got angry and smashed it so I had to get it repaired." He explained calmly. He seemed really stressed and dispirited.

"Do you know how I can get hold of her?" I could hear him sigh on the other end of the phone.

"Well, knowing her she's probably run off with Ashton to break his heart too." He hissed.

I thought about that possibility all night. That could probably be the case to be honest. I mean, Ash and her both took off about the same time. Neither one of them telling us where they were going. This was starting to get weird. I met up with Luke and Michael later that night. Our band had a gig a few towns away tonight anyway so that would distract me. Since Ash is not here, we didn't have a drummer. Good job his drumming was pre- recorded though so we could still have a beat to follow.

~Drey's p.o.v~
Ashton and I decided that it would be best to loosen up a little tonight so we went out for a drink at a nearby club. It was his idea, not mine. We're both underaged but we still managed to get in anyway. It was then that I remembered that I left my phone at Luke's so I had no form of social media or communication.

"Ash, I miss wifi." I complained. He stared at me and began to laugh.

"What???" I whined.

"It's literally been 2 days and you already miss wifi?" I nodded in response and he chuckled again.

"Anyway, Its kind of a good thing that you've not got your phone. I mean, we're starting again aren't we? In a new town, with new people and more places to see. Its an adventure just waiting to be discovered. In fact, to prove to you that I'm serious..." He stopped mid sentence and grabbed his phone out of his pocket, throwing it out of the window beside the table we were sitting at. I looked at him in shock.

"You idiot! I could've used your wifi" I pouted.

It wasn't long before I heard a loud cheer start from the people in the club. I looked at Ash in confusion, he just shrugged his shoulders.

"Hey everybody! Wait is it hi or hey?" A familiar face began. I saw the tall, blonde boy and I couldn't believe my eyes. Luke.

Two more boys walked out onto the stage with their guitars. I identified them as Michael and Calum. What were they all doing here? Did Ash plan this? I saw Ashton's eyes widen as they began to sing their first song. I didn't even know that they were a band.

"I dedicate this song to you,
The one who never see's the truth.
That I can take away your hurt,
Heartbreak girl.
Hold you tight,
straight through the daylight.
I'm right here,
when you gonna realise?
That I'm your cure
heartbreak girl."

All three boys sang together. The song was beautiful but I didn't deserve to see them again.

"Okay, our next song is called Permanent Vacation but our drummer couldn't make it tonight so there will be no drum track sorry." Luke apologized, awkwardly.

I heard disappointed murmurs run through the crowd and I glanced at Ash who looked like he was itching to get up on that stage and join them. Ashton must be their drummer!

I tapped his shoulder and smiled supportively. "Go on."

He frowned at me but finally understood what I was saying.

"You sure?" He asked me with a sparkle in his eye.

I nodded and grinned widely. His face lit up immediately as he ran towards the stage, jumping onto it and sitting behind the drum kit. They started the song but not before he could tie his bandana around his head. This was the most amazing show i've ever been to.

"You say that I'm too complicated,

Michael sung his part beautifuly. I was so honoured to be the guys's friend. Well, old friend.

"Frustration, desperation
You say I need some kind of medication
Situation: no motivation
Destination: permanent vacation."

"Hey, I'm doing fine
And I know I'm out of line
So let's sing this one more time
It goes
Destination: permanent vacation."

"Na-na, na-na na na."
