Prologue
"Trust me."
"How?"
"Just do it."
"No! I can't just let go of everything, of our past, of my hurt, of who I love! I can't, because we, we are not meant to be. I just don't want to put false hope in your head because I am not the type of person to do that."
"Oh, and I am?"
"Yes! Look at everything you've put me through. You made me believer that I could do something. Be someone. But you lied. You lied to me."
"I didn't want to lie, I just didn't want you to get hurt!"
"I would have been less hurt if you told me the truth." And with that, I walked away.
"I'm sorry!" He called after me. But that just made it worse.
Love means never having to say you're sorry.
