Coming Undone

"Hailey come down stairs please" called Ryan

"Coming" I yelled back

I walked down the stairs it was still dark outside, I walked into the kitchen where dad was sitting drinking his coffee. Walking over I grabbed me a cup an poured me some an sat down at the table. I sipped the coffee an sat it down in front of me,i could tell dad wanted to tell me something important.

"I got a call from my old friends down in new York, their son Harry has been getting into a lot of trouble lately and they want what's best for him, they asked if he can come stay with us for a while"

"Oh what did you say no right"

"Not exactly, I said yes an he on his way now I get him from the air port today at noon"

"But dad"

"Hailey I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier but he needs this an we need a extra hand around the farm"

"Fine there is nothing I can say now huh"

"Nope sugar"

"Alright"

I took finished my drink an headed back up stairs to get ready for the day. When i came back down dad was already outside checking up on the animals I walked out side in the cold air. I shivered maybe I should have wore a coat. Walking towards the barn I found dad checking up on one of our pregnant horses. I walked to my horses stall, his name was bolt one of the fastest horses we got here at the farm. I said hello an grabbed his food and water buckets an went to fill them up. When I heard James pull up in his Ford truck,we were really close friends. I put the food an water back in the stall an walked outside to meet him.

"Hey James"

"Hey Hailey"

" How was your day off yesterday"

"It was good went fishing the normal stuff but glad to be back working"

"Cool we missed you".

I gave him a hug an told him what dad said this morning he was shocked but nothing really he could do. We both went back to work I went to let my dogs out to run for the day. They were pits everyone thinks they are mean but they aren't an I love them. Soon came lunch time we been busy all morning getting everything ready an working our tails off. Dad just left to go get this Harry I had a bad feeling about this. But their is nothing I can do to stop him. I just hope I was wrong. I sat at the table eating a sandwich when I heard dad pull up. I heard two doors slam an people walking up the porch then the door opened before my eyes stood the most handsome man I have ever seen.
