A Connection
"Hello." He said.
Oh my gosh, I just ran into Harry Styles. What the hell do I do? Oh god, his eyes, his dimples, his body. I suddenly remembered that Harry was still starring at me. "Hi." I managed to get out. He smiled, showing his bright pearly whites. He leaned closer, which made me feel the sauce that was still on his shirt. "Oh I am very sorry for that... Here let me get some towels." I said, quickly getting out of the position we were in. He chuckled, "It's okay love, it's fine." I felt my skin on my body beginning to heat up, so I bent down to pick up the plates and hurried down to the kitchen, not looking back at him.
*Lauren's P.O.V.*
I walked around having small chat with a few old contestants. I open up the gate and started walking through a maze. No seriously, a maze. I turned every corner hoping to find my way to the beach, getting a little annoyed i decided to sing Demi Lavoto's single Heart Attack. I kept on walking through the maze until I heard a noise. "Hello?" I questioned. No reply. I shook my head, Lauren don't go crazy now... then a bush russled. I turned around and walked up to the bush that made the noise. I leaned in closer and closer and closer and... "HEY YOU!" Niall popped out, giving me a heart attack. I stumbled back and raised my voice "HOLY HELL, YOU SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME." He started laughing in the most cutest way, I tried not to giggle, to show him that I was mad... well just a little bit. "We meet again" he smirked. "I bet you were folllowing me and decided to scare me." I rolled my eyes at him. Ignoring my comment he stuck his tongue and asked "So Whatcha doin'?" moving a little closer to me. "I am trying to find my way to the freaking beach." I responded in a very annoyed tone. "Well, It's getting pretty late... I think you need a STRONG TOUGH MAN to help you find your way in the darkness!" He teased. "Nice emphasize on 'Strong Tough Man'" I laughed. We both started walking through the maze until we finally hit the beach. My eyes grew huge, the view is amazing! The sound of the waves crash bring music to my ears, watching them creep on my feet with a sunset view is the most perfect setting ever. "This is breath taking" I said starring at the perfect view. "You are too..." I think I heard Niall mumble, but it was probably my fangirl side of my brain thinking that. A slight breeze rubbed softly against my skin which made me shiver. Niall scooted closer, wrapping his arms around me to keep me warm. "I think we should go inside, so you wont get a cold." He said walking me back to the maze. I nodded and we walked through the confusing maze again.

"It's so warm in here!" I exclaimed unwrapping Niall's arms off me. "OH WAY TO GO NIALL!" Louis shouted across the room, making everyone look at us. I slowly scooted apart from him and walked where everyone else was. Niall followed telling me sorry on what Louis just did. We sat down and started talking until I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around finding Cayla with a blank face, looking like she was about to pass out. "Cayla are you ok? Excuse me Niall." I said pushing through people following Cayla to the laundry room. I closed the door and turned around, "Well?" "Lauren, I just ran into Harry and oh gosh his appearance, his politeness holy crap I can't do this. I think im about to die." Cayla rumbled on. "Cayla, grab hold of yourself. Ryan was just a douchebag that is a hypocrite who only thinks of himself. Harry can't be like that." I started giving her a speech. "and so what if he is known as the womanizer, or the flirt. If he really likes you, he'll be loyal to you. Cayla he is different, don't you even say you are ugly. Try to chat with him, get to know him. Don't try to push him away." I said hugging her because she started crying. "I am just so scared... I don't want to be hurt like how I was with Ryan." She cried. I hushed her and gave her tissues to wipe her face. "Now I want you to walk out and show how strong you are and be yourself." I saidd pushing her out the door. Cayla followed me, while I walked back to Niall. "Hey!" Niall giggled tickling me. "Stahpppp Nialler!" I tried to block myself with a pillow. "Hey hey hey, Ok so since we all are singers from the X-Factor... we should do duets with each other!" Zayn announced in the kareoke microphone. Niall stopped tickling me and boo'd Zayn. Zayn turned around and stuck his tongue out at him which made me laugh. "Hmmm Lets see... who wants to go first?" He asked. Everyone was quiet, "I do" A raspy voice that gave me a chill up my spine. I look at who took the microphone. Harry. I started forming an idea in my head, I quickly looked over at Cayla who was looking away, i grabbed her arm, threw it up and yelled "SHE DOES!"
*Cayla's P.O.V.*
"SHE DOES!" Lauren yelled holding my hand up as i was trying to put it down. Harry quickly turned around and locked eyes with me, smiling. Lauren pushed me up there, I waddled onto the platform and grabbed the mic Harry was holding in the other hand. We scrolled through the song choices until I saw the one I loved to sing, "Just Give Me A Reason." I spoke shyly in the microphone. Harry came closer and locked eyes with me. The song started playing and i started singing, full on pouring my heart out; remembering the past with Ryan. Harry started singing his lines and noticed a tear come down my eye, he walked closer to me to wipe it off, the chorus came on and we sang in a unison singing beautifully "Just give me a reason

Our voices, I felt a powerful connection as we sang. I looked over at Lauren and she was giving me a thumbs up, while wiping tears off her eyes. We kept on singing and Harry kept on getting closer. Flashbacks were flashing in my mind with all of the good and bad times with Ryan, my voice started getting stronger. I felt everything in my body wanting to collapse, then I felt an arm wrapped around me, I look up and see Harry smiling at me. The song started to end and I starred into Harry's deep green eyes, I can see that he is trying to read me. I gave him a smile and he leaned in and brushed his soft, pillow like lips on my cheek. Unaware I stepped back, remembering Lauren's speech, I hugged him. He wrapped his arms around me, I missed this, I don't ever want to let go. Sadly we did, "Ohhhhh Harry, that's how you do it, you tiger!" Louis whistled. I realized everyone was still watching and I ran off the platform. I can't love again, I thought running to my room. Besides, why would Harry fall for me? He is in the biggest boyband in the world and he even said he isn't going for any girls for awhile. But that song I felt a spark, I never felt a spark with Ryan... but in that song when he touched my cheek, I felt something. Oh how I longed for that moment. Suddenly a knock on my door interrupted my thoughts. Thinking it was Lauren I responded, "Come in." The door opened and Harry walked in. Shocked I froze in my spot. "Erm hi..." I stuttered. He looked like he was thinking about something thats' been bugging him. "I haven't even asked what your name was..." he finally said. "Mycheala, but call me Cayla." I answered, still frozen in one spot. He smiled, "Beautiful name, I love it! I came to check on you and I have a question, but keep it between us please."
