My legs start going numb, burning from sprinting; I look behind and Harry is a few feet behind me. I give him a glare and I forcefully start picking up my pace. I leap over bumps in the snow and logs, “Lo seriously you can’t run forever…” Harry pants behind me. I roll my eyes and keep running straight. I don’t even know where I am, “Lauren just stop for a minute.” Harry begged. “No Harry,” I responded. I kept running until I collapsed, my legs couldn’t take it. I was in a coat and kitty slippers; I can’t feel my whole body at all. “Lauren,” Harry yells. He hovers over me, I try to get up; “I’m fine.” “No you’re not, I’m taking you back.” Harry announced. “No don’t, please” I begged. Harry looked at me and picked me up. All I feel is pain, not just from freezing in the snow but from what happened a few minutes ago. My vision goes blur, I screech out “Harry,” and then everything goes black.

I hear noises that I can’t make out, “Harry?” I slowly opened my eyes, I found myself wrapped up in blankets and ski jackets. I look around, I’m in the ski lodge; kids running around, people coming in and out renting and returning skis. I feel much better, although I am kind of cold I can actually feel my body. “Oh good you’re awake,” Harry smiled sitting down next to me holding two mugs. “Yeah,” I smiled back him; I shuffled around in the coats and blankets and sat up. “Where did you get all of these?” “Oh I ran in here told them that you passed out and you’re all cold all over and they gave me blankets and ski jackets, here’s hot chocolate.” Harry responded giving me the pink mug. I grabbed it and took a sip, once the hot chocolate touch my tongue; I gave a small spit take. “That’s hot.” Harry laughed, “Well yeah, it’s supposed to be hot!” I made a face and crinkled my nose as I looked at the mug. Harry sat down his mug and shifted, “So can we talk about what happened?” I took small sips and looked at him, “I guess.” I grabbed a ski jacket and put it behind me for a back rest. “Lo, that was his ex… no one knew about her, only his family, us and management. They broke up because he was on tour and it would be hard. Lauren he likes you, it’s pretty obvious.” Harry finished and gave me a look. “They kissed Harry, Yeah she probably kissed him but he didn’t back away until I said his name.” I said looking at my hot chocolate. There was silence, “Okay you have a point… what are you going to do about it?” Harry spoke up. I looked at him; his cheeks and nose were showing a shade of light pink. I handed him a jacket, “Thanks…” I nodded and looked at the fire. What should I do? I probably stared at the fire for a good five minutes, I finally knew what I should and I looked back at Harry.

*Cayla’s P.O.V.*


I look out the window while everyone is eating breakfast. Silence fills the room ever since what happened in the morning between Niall and Lauren. Oh I hope she’s ok, I began to pace. Harry didn’t have to go and talk to her… Like Niall could have done it. They are good friends, I shouldn’t worry… or should I? They have been gone for a long time now. I bite my lip and sit down; Niall walks over and sits on the other side of me. I looked at him; he lowers his head on his hands whispering over and over “What am I going to do.” I know what really happened; Niall explained it to us once Eleanor asked.




He got a call and went downstairs to take it, Sarah his ex told him to look outside. He peered through the window and saw her standing outside. He rushed out there and she asked for him back, he told her that he is busy with the new album and she gave him the guilt trip. He then told her that he really likes someone else, he explained Lauren to her and then she kissed him. He heard a gasp and a small whisper “Niall,” he knew it was Lauren and turned around. He saw Harry at the door frowning, she ran back in and he chased her and that’s what happened.



Niall began to curse, “Hey Harry is probably talking to her… Nialler come on, Lauren really likes you. She’ll come around, she just needs time.” I said quietly. Niall looked at me his face is flushed, “I hope so.” I nod and then Harry’s solo from Little Things came on. I took out my phone and Harry was calling. I looked at Niall who was wide eye at my phone, “its Harry…” I said and got up and pressed answer, “Hey Haz, what’s up?” Harry coughed, “So Lauren’s body went numb a while back and I took her to the ski lodge to warm up…” I interrupted, “Why didn’t you take her here?” “Because she didn’t want to see Niall… Cayla I talked to her and she has her decision.” Harry said. “I looked at Niall who was watching me, I can see hope in his eyes. “Well what is it?” He sighed, “She’s going back to London.” I pause, that is not what I was expecting. Is she out of her mind? “Hold on,” I hesitated over the phone. I turned to Niall, “I’m going outside…” I mumbled and ran out. The cold wind breezes past my arm sending chills around my body, “its cold.” “Yeah I know.” Harry said. “So why is she going back?” I asked. “She wants time, she told me no one else is coming back with her. She wants you to enjoy it here, Cayla I’m coming back to the cabin to get here bags.” I looked around in the forest. “But Niall…” I mumbled. “I’ll tell him, just try to avoid the topic. I’ll see you soon babe, bye love you.” “I love you too,” I said and clicked end.





*Niall’s P.O.V.*


I watch Cayla sit out there, she just stares into the woods. What happened while she was talking to Harry? Eleanor and Perrie walk out there and they talk, they all get up and hugged. Perrie then starts yelling and Eleanor and Cayla laugh. The girls come in and Eleanor told Louis, Perrie told Zayn and Cayla told Liam. They all looked at me and walked towards me, I got up, “Look I don’t want to know now, and I’m going to bed.” I walked up stairs and went in my room.



I look outside my window and I see a car pull up, Harry steps out then Lauren steps out. She looks around and frowns, she then looks directly at my window. My heart begins to beat faster and I smile. I run out of my room and ran down the stairs, “They’re here!” everyone stopped watching the football/soccer match and looked at me. Cayla gets up and goes to the door, “Why aren’t you guys talking?” “I’ll go get her bags…” Liam said. “I’ll help,” Zayn added in. “Me too.” Louis said. “Wait what you mean?” I asked following them. Eleanor and Perrie run past me and go outside. I find Cayla and Harry in deep conversation, once they saw me they straightened up. Harry came closer, “Look Niall I’m sorry but Lauren is going back to London.” I took a step back, what no… this can’t happen. My heart drops and I stare at them. “Let me see her.” Zayn and Liam walk by us and head to the car. “Niall she wants time alone, time to think and you seeing her will hurt her.” Cayla said coming closer. “I want to see her.” I demanded. “No Niall you can’t… I got to go her flight leaves soon.” Harry said and gave Cayla a kiss. I watch Harry make his way and I see a glimpse of Lauren getting in the car. “Let me see her,” I yell and I run to the car. Liam, Louis, and Zayn grabbed me. I looked right in the car, “Lauren Please.” She looked at me frightened. Harry and her change seats, and the car leave. The boys let go of me and they all said “Sorry mate.” I was then left alone, looking down the road where the car drove off too.

Sorry it took me two weeks to type up this chapter... and sorry that its short... I was on vacation and then I had to stay at my grandmas because my older sis had a national triathlon race in Wisconsin and I couldn't be on the computer because my mom told my grandma to hide the computer. My older sister made World Championship so im excited lol. Anyways my apology guys.

Didn't see this happening?! Yeah... so what do you think Niall will do? Will Sarah come back? Will Lauren make the car turn around and go back to Niall? Is Cayla going to start questioning her and Harry's relationship? You gotta wait ;)
