All Because of a Rose
The Dream
“Rose...”
I walked through a dark cold building hearing a familiar voice whisper my name.
"Celia?" I asked confused, burrowing my brows.
“Rose…”
I looked desperate around my dark surroundings to see if I could see her.
How was she saying my name if she was dead?
“Celia!” I yelled, feeling a lone tear run down my face.
“Rose… don’t!”
I heard her scream all around me making me stop in my tracks.
“Don’t what?” I asked really confused now.
“He will know…”
Who would know? I wondered.
“Who is he?” I asked.
After no response I screamed “Please, Celia! Where are you and who is he?”
“No, I can’t… he will hurt you like he hurts everyone else he knows that does not obey!”
I heard her voice tremble making me feel desperate for who he was.
After I collected my thoughts, I decided to ask her one more question.
“Are you alive?”
I waited till I heard a scream and a laugh from a male’s voice.
“Celia!” I screamed as I started running frantically searching for her only to be stopped by the males voice.
“Haha, you won’t find her. Poor, poor, Rose.”
“Where is she?” I asked to the voice that mocked me.
“In your dreams.”
“Stop being a smart ass and tell me the truth.” I growled with my fist in balls.
“Rose, why would I lie to you? Look around you. Where are you?”
I looked around me as I notice I was staring at a familiar glass stained window.
“How…” I whispered as my eyes frantically observed the place I was standing.
How was I in the church where my family used to go too, till it burnt down mysteriously one day five years ago?
“Look familiar?
He asked.
“Tell me how we are here.” I asked bravely.
“Once again, we are in your dream. I have the power, if you want to call it that, to go into humans dreams and make them feel real.” he answered.
“Then is Celia alive?” I asked.
“Why would I tell you, then the game would be no fun.” He ended with a chuckle.
“Wait… what game?” I asked confused.
“You will find out… my Rose.”
I heard a chuckle before I woke up with a light scream and a feeling that whoever he was, was in my room while I was asleep.
...
“Lucas?” I whispered as I remembered he stayed with me last night as I slept.
I looked around before I saw a glimpse of a piece of paper on my desk.
I got up and went over to it as I put my fingers in my hair to soothe it out.
Rose,
It’s just me Lucas, I had to go home before my mum worried about me.
Call me if you have any more problems.
Ooo.
Lucas.
I put the note back down as I felt a cool breeze go through me.
I turned around as I saw my window curtain sway in the breeze as I made my way towards my window and close it.
I looked at my clock on my night table as it read 2:30 a.m.
“You got to be kidding me!” I yelled frustrated as I walked towards my unmade bed to hopefully go back to sleep and have no worries till morning.
