You are the problem
"Rose?" I looked up from my desk and gave my best smile that I could give.
"Yes?" I answered back to my English teacher, who was looking confused at me, along with the class.
I slowly looked around the room and noticed that Liam had the same english class as me, in the very back staring at me.
I shuddered...how did I not notice till today that he had another class with me?
"Do you need a pass to go see the nurse? You're looking a bit pale and tired." I heard the teacher ask, interrupting my thoughts.
"No thank you." I answered, suppressing back a yawn.
Yet again I had lack of sleep last night, due to another nightmare. When was I ever going to ever have a good nights sleep? Never?
I felt my phone buzz and looked down and read who it was it was from, Lucas.
"English terms come from many root words, varying to Latin and Greek...." I made sure my teacher was busy before I could read the message.
L: Are you doing alright? Remember, if you need me, I'm always there for you, Rose.
I smiled. I knew he would be there for me, even if he was dying, that was what best friends were for.
R: I'm fine, a bit tired. Thanks.
I waited for a reply as memories came flying through my head from last night.
"Fuck, Rose! Being best friends does not mean we can not make out!" "Friend zone?" "Promise" "Do you feel like we are being watched?" "No Lucas, please stay the night with me?" "Your such an easy human to play with." "Are you afraid of me?" "See, Rose, I control you. Humans are said to be controlled by what they fear, isn't that right, Rose? I am what you fear the most." "One day your going to beg for my touch." "Ohh, and make sure you say goodbye. "
I shivered from the last thought, "Ohh, and make sure you say goodbye. "
Maybe he was just trying to get to me and be even more paranoid.
I felt my phone buzz again.
L: Do you want to go over to my house and see if you can sleep better?
R: I'm really fine. I doubt it will help... dreams don't go away.
L: Nightmares about Celia?I decided halfway lying.
R: yeah, I don't see her but I hear her.
It took a while before he texted back.
L: Let's talk about this later, ohh project in Chem, don't get stuck with any weirdos. lmas
I lightly giggled, knowing that Lucas probably got stuck with Nalie Hempor, who was a nice girl, but she had some issues.
R: Nalie? Hehe...good luck!
L: Yep..She's currently drawing a nude pic of the teacher....jeebys
R: Does it look good? Jk
L: It's not that bad...ohhh ohhh he's coming, haha. See you later.
R: Later, hopefully.
I looked up from my phone and noticed that the teacher was still ranting on about the histkry of English.
I looked up to the clock on the wall behind the teacher and realized the bell was going to ring any second.

The whole class got up and started walking out, as I took a step out, I felt a hand on my elbow.
"Rose, can I speak with you about something urgent later with you?"
I turned and faced Liam.
"What kind of urgent?" I asked warry.
He looked around before answering, "I want to help you."
I gave him an I don't understand look, "Sorry, but I don't understand what you're meaning." as I begin to walk towards Chemistry.
I noticed he was l still following, "Stop following me!" I yelled a bit to loudly as everyone stopped for a second from what they were doing to look.
"Rose, I go to chemistry also, remember? "
Crap, I did now that, I thought miserably.
"Rose, I want to help you with your problem that you have, I'm not trying to scare you."
I rolled my eyes, "See the problem is, is that you are the problem. I see you everywhere... it's not normal to see you at a hospital and everywhere else." I reminded him.
He gave me a confused look, "I never whent to any hospital here, Rose."
I just ignored him and went to my seat and sat down as he did the same.
"Please hear me out. I want to help you. I know more then you think."
I faced him in my seat, "Look, you don't know nothing. And plus, I don't even know you that well. Why would I want someone to help me with my own problems when they obviously have problems of there own?" I said harshly.
His face stayed calm as he faced me, "It's getting stronger.."
I gave him a confused look before I asked him, "What's gett-" I got interupted by the bell and the teacher's voice.
"Today we are going to be staying with our same partners, from last time. You guys are going to be researching multiplying germs in nearby public places. Partners will get the opportunity of working with each other out of school."
I looked over a Liam who was currently taking notes, and sighed... why me?
"You want to get this over later today?" I asked.
"Good thinking, first time I actually hear you use common since in this class." Liam smartly said with a smile.
I gave him a look, "let's just get it done." realizing I would rather want Nalie as my partner.
"Let's meet at the park, since it's listed as a public place." He spoke.
I nodded, "fine, sounds like a date." I regretted saying when I finished.
He smiled. "I'll bring something for us to eat."
"I don't think we'll be that long." I rejected.
"You never know, it's always better to be prepared. "
I got up and collected the tools from the front for Liam and me.
"What time do you want to meet? " he asked.
"About 5ish ." I told him, so that I could have time to see Lucas before I left.
