Two Young Hearts

“Ready to go my favorite Aussie?” Harry asked me as he sat on my bed texting someone, probably one of the boys. Tonight I finally am able to go see Bindi perform on Dancing with the Stars again and this week is most memorable year. I already knew what her dance was about since we talked about it fr hours and how she felt.

“Ready my dorky Brit.” I said stepping out of my closet with my shoes on and my clutch in hand. My dad and Jase are meeting us there since they are leaving directly from meetings. This is the first time that Bindi has ever met Harry and also we plan on publically announcing our relationship. We’ve been dating for 8 months under the radar which made it hard to go out with each other, which is why most of our date nights were at my house or my brother’s house. They just assumed he was there to talk to my brother about recording or something. Tonight is actually our 8th month anniversary which I think is really cool.

“Let’s go beautiful.” Harry said and I did just that. I walked out his car and he opened the door for me and closed it once I was inside. He then jogged around to the driver’s side of the car and got in. When we got to the studio we walked in and I instantly spotted Terri and Robert Irwin and I walked over hand in hand with Harry.

“Beth!” Robert said coming and hugging me.

“Hey babes. How are you?” I asked as I went to hug Terri.

“I’m great! Is Tabby coming tonight?” He asked me.

“I can text my dad and tell him to pick her up if you want me to.” I said and he nodded his head vigorously causing as all to laugh. I took my phone out of my clutch and first sent a text to Tabby to wear a dress and then another to my dad asking him to please pick her up and bring her and of course he said yes.

“So who is this with you? I mean I know who he is, but are you two dating?” Terri whispered in my ear. Oddly enough my mom left my family around the same time Bindi’s dad died. So my dad has become like a second dad to Bindi and her mom has become like a second mom to me.

“This is Harry. Harry this is Bindi’s and Robert’s lovely mom Terri.” I said introducing the two and instead of shaking hands they pulled each other into a hug. I took a seat next to Terri and Harry was on the other side of me.

“Are you excited?” Harry asked me and I nodded my head leaning on his shoulder. He took out his phone and we took a picture together.

“Are you ready for the world to know about us?” Harry asked me and I nodded my head head smiling at him before kissing his cheek.

“Stop with the PDA!” I heard Jase say before I looked up. I stuck my tongue out at him and then stood up to give him a hug. He hugged Robert and Terri before taking taking a seat in the row behind us. Soon my dad and Tabby were there. Tabby sat next to Robert and I scooted down one seat so my dad could be next to me.

Bindi just finished her dance and I was crying. I turned to my dad and hugged him which took him by surprise.

“What’s wrong princess?” My dad asked wiping away my tears.

“I just want you to know I love you no matter what.” I said and he smiled down at him.

“I know you do.” He said before pulling me into his chest. We stood there hugging each other while Bindi was getting her critic. When she got the 10 from Bruno I have never screamed so loud! Saying I’m just proud of my best friend is a major understatement! As soon as the show ended we had to hurry home and get Tabby ready for bed since she has school tomorrow. On the way home I sent Bindi a quick telling her how proud of her I am and how ready I am for our day out with our boyfriends tomorrow.

“Can you help me decide what to wear tomorrow?” Tabby asked me. I still live at my dad’s house simply to help him with my younger siblings while he is away filming.

“Sure kiddo now shower time.” I said and she stuck her tongue out before walking into the bathroom. I told Harry to go ahead to my room while I checked on my brothers. When I opened Cam’s door he was asleep, but had like three lights on so I turned them off and turned his music down a bit. I then went to check on Kaleb so also asleep with his TV on. I turned it off before going to check on Ken. When I opened his door I found him lying in bed reading.

“You should really go to bed buds.” I said climbing the steps of his loft type thingy and sitting down in his desk chair.

“I know, but I can’t. Will you drive me to school tomorrow please?” He asked me with pleading eyes and I nodded my head.

“Sure you doof now time for bed.” I said standing up and taking his book from him and placing it on his bed.

“You’re such a nag.” He said as he got under his covers. I turned and smiled at him and he smiled back at me. After closing his door I walked down the hall to my room where I found the door joining the two bed rooms open. I then found Harry on the bed that I have in the “living room” part of it.

“I’m going to take a shower and then I’ll be back.” I said going into the bedroom part and walking into my walk-in closet and grabbing a pair of shorts and one of Harry’s shorts. I then walked into the bathroom that is connected to my room and took a ten minute shower. Once I had my pajamas on I grabbed my phone off the bed and walked into the other room and climbed into bed next to Harry, who was watching TV.

“Mum is kind of mad that I kept us a secret from her for 8 months, but she understands and she can’t wait to meet you.” He said putting his arm around my shoulders.

“I can’t wait to meet her either babe. So I told Ken that I would drive him to school tomorrow, do you want to come with or stay and sleep in?” I asked poking his cheek.

“I think I’m going to sleep in angel.” He said and I nodded my head as I cuddled down onto his chest. He kissed the top of my head. I slowly drifted off to sleep on the person I love, even though we haven’t said the “L” word to each other.
