Tell me if you love me

2 years before:
My first day at Grandview was not a good one. After going through another messy break up all I wanted was to stay at home, not be here. After a crazy rush of meeting new people and getting lost on the way to classes, I finally had a chance to meet my new room mate.

My first impression of Anika was that of all the people I had to share a room with she was the last person I could ever have picked. She sat on a chair, looking like she was posing for a shoot it a fashion magazine. I coughed once to let her know i was there and expected sharp remarks or just to be ignored, I had experienced girls like her the beautiful and popular ones who never had any time for any one ‘lower’ than them.

Anika surprised me, as she would go on to do time and time again. On seeing me she smiled so widely, I found myself smiling back. She stood up and gave me a hug, It was strange I had never met her before yet I didn’t find it strange that she was hugging me. Her coal black hair tickled my cheek as she said “Hi Im Anika you must be Ashley” I nodded “Im so glad to meet you” she practically sang, she was that kind of person.
