Tell me if you love me

Christines POV:

As soon as Liz called me I had to come straight away, even though me and Luke had hardly talked for months of course I still cared about him…maybe even still loved him. As we went up the lift Liz hardly talked to me, she seemed to be trying to think of something to say to me, which was odd we had always got on really well. “So how’s Josh?” she said and I sigh inwardly “We broke up actually” I say trying to look upset even though I am not at all the short time I dated Josh just confirmed one thing for me Luke was the only boy I wanted.

“Listen Chris I have to tell you something I dont want you getting the wrong idea, of course you probably wouldn’t think” she says stumbling on he words. I am confused “But well, Luke has a girlfriend I just thought I would warn you beforehand.” she looks at me concerned because I have frozen. All my dreams of us re uniting and him begging me to be with him forever evaporate. I try to keep a straight face as I say “Oh, okay thats nice whats her name?” But Liz isn’t stupid she knows that even though I’m trying to hide it my heart just broke. Its weird how I somehow imagined that he would miss me as much as I missed him, but it seemed he moved on, something I just can’t do. “Ashley” she replies.
I despise her on sight, Ashley. She’s gorgeous with honey brown skin and long brown curls, I get why Luke would find her attractive . And, God is she rude looking down on me like I am dirt on the ground. I decide that I will do all in my power to get this girl away from Luke there and then.

Thought I would do a short chapter from Christine's POV probably won't do one again just to add to the story!
