Too Young

“Daddy!!” I shouted running into his house five days later. Harry has been gone and back on tour for three days now and I miss him like crazy, but I do have good news after leaving a meeting with my manager.

“What’s up elley?” He asked me from his spot on the couch.

“I got the part and guess what!!!!” I said literally jumping up and down in excitement.

“What?” He asked just as Zoey ran inside the house.

“I play her little sister!!” She shouted and my dad stood up and pulled us into hugs.

“I’m so happy for you guys! I think we need a dinner to celebrate!” He said smiling.

“Oh, but wait daddyo! Your son has the part as the best friend!” Brad said walking into the house.

“Whoa three of my babies in one movie together! We defiantly have to celebrate now! Where do you want to go?” He asked us.

“Doesn’t matter. Surprise me.” I said before going upstairs to my old room, which I guess is still technically my room here. I pulled up my contacts on my phone and dialed Harry’s number.

“What’s going on beautiful?” He asked after he answered.

“Well I have good news!!” I said.

“Okay I’m ready! What is the news?!?” He asked me with excitement in his voice.

“I got the part and Zoey and Brad also got the parts they were up for!”

“Oh my gosh I’m so happy for you babe! Where are you filming?”

“We will be down under for a little bit, but then the majority will be filmed in Paris.”

“That’s great. I have to go for sound check right now, but I’ll call you back later tonight. Love you!” He said. I said I loved him back and then we hung up. I tossed my phone beside me and laid back staring up at the ceiling.

“I need your help Brooke.” Brinley said poking her head into my room. I sat up and patted the spot next to me and she walked in carrying her homework with her.

“What subject Brin?” I asked her.

“Math.” She said handing me the paper and I looked at it. It took me an hour to help her until she understood it.

“Girls get ready.” My dad shouted up the stairs. I was already dressed, I just needed to touch up my makeup. Brinley ran off into her room and I walked into my in-suite. Once I fixed up my makeup I walked back downstairs.

“Get in the car.” My dad said to me and I walked out to my car where Zoey, Chloe, and Brad were already waiting.

“Did he happen to tell any of you where we are going?” I asked them and they all shook their heads. I sighed and rested my head on the steering wheel. I get anxiety went I don’t know where I’m going whether I’m driving or not it just bugs me. After my dad began to drive I followed him to where ever we were going which ended up being to a garden.

“What are we doing here?” Brad asked as he got out the car.

“This is dinner.” My dad said as we began to walk down a path. At the end of the path we found one long table waiting for us and we all sat down. I was between Belle and Brad. Dinner was amazing and I’m glad I got to share it with some of my favorite people! When we got back to my dad’s house I changed into sweats and one of Brad’s old shirts before going downstairs to the movie room. When I got there I found my dad looking at his work phone.

“What goes on daddy?” I asked sitting down next to him.

“Work things. How are things between you and Harry?”

“They’re great. Of course I wish we had more time together, but it’s almost impossible with our jobs.

“Hey dad can we spend the night at Rowan’s house tonight?” Chloe asked from the top of the stairs. All five of my younger sisters are best friend with Rowan Blanchard, but Zoey is obviously the closet to her because they play best friends on Girl Meets World.

“Do you need a ride?” He asked her.

“Nope! Brad said he would take us since we don’t have his favorite kind of ice cream.” Chloe responded.

“Okay well have fun. What time do you need picked up tomorrow?” He asked.

“Ro and Zoe have to be on set at 10:30 so we’ll go to set with them and then out to lunch with the rest of the cast and Uncle Ben will bring us home.” Chloe replied. My siblings and I refer to Ben Savage as our Uncle because he and my dad have been best friends since before any of us were born.

“Okay well have fun and I’ll see you tomorrow.” My dad said right before Chloe bolted up the stairs.

“Well Elly it looks like it will just be the three of us once your brother gets back. What do you want to watch?” He asked me.

“Twilight!!!!”

“Well Twilight it is. I’ll got make popcorn.” He said before going up stairs.
