Familiar Faces
Talia’s POV.
The limo pulled up and immediately you could see flashing cameras everywhere. The car stopped I looked away from the window due to the flashes hurting my head. Man, who knew how bad a coma could feel.
“You guys ready to go?” We all nodded and the door swung open, revealing us to the paparazzi. Lina was first to get out, then four of the boys, then Penelope and Liam, then Tori and Azalea, and then me. I fixed my playsuit and stepped onto the red carpet.
Immediately you heard cheers and screams. My name was being called everywhere and before I could process what was going on, I was separated from Louis by one of the people that work there and put with the girls for an interview.
“Hey guys! My name is Kaleena Monnse and I am here with the amazing and talented group, The Vixens!”
The crowd cheered vigorously which only made my head hurt worse. I paid attention back to the interviewer and tried my best not to show how much my head was in pain. Luckily for them, they were hardly paying attention. I swear that name sounded so familiar though.
Kaleena: “Hello girls! So great to see you tonight! How are you feeling?”
Lina: Were great! Feeling really good and super excited!
Kaleena: That’s good guys. So how long have you been practicing for the upcoming tour?
Penelope: We’ve been practicing since we arrived here in London. Just trying to master every single move to every single song is difficult but it’s our profession so it’s what we do.
Kaleena: Now Tori, we recently heard that you were spotted with heart throb, Niall Horan. Are you guys dating?
Tori: Yes, yes we are! We have been dating for a couple weeks now he makes me very happy.
Kaleena: That’s wonderful! Very happy for you Tori. So how have you been Talia? From all the hectic talk about your coma that you were in and just waking up a couple days ago?
I was ready to answer her question when I saw someone standing in the crowd looking dead at me. I told myself I would never forget that face or that person. I knew she looked so familiar and by the way she was looking at me, she knew me too.
I couldn’t stop staring at her but I was reluctantly pulled away from my thoughts by someone shaking my shoulder. “Talia?” I blinked my eyes a couple times and looked back over to Kaleena, our interviewer. She repeated the question with a skeptical look.
Talia: Oh im sorry, I zoned out haha! Um yea I am doing fine. Have to take it easy for a couple weeks due to me coming out from a coma but other than that, I have the lovely ladies right here to take care of me if I need it and I know they will do a good job.
Kaleena: Well I am super happy for you, and for you girls as well! Looks like others are arriving so I will see you guys inside. Have a wonderful night girls!
We smiled at her and started to head towards the door. I kept looking around for the girl who looked so familiar but it’s like she disappeared in thin air. I was so focused on finding her that I didn’t realize my name being called by all the paparazzi.
My head was swarming and I couldn’t concentrate with all the yelling and flashes going on around me. I felt like I was going to pass out. I had to get inside before I cop out on the floor in front of everyone.
The only thing that was really on my mind was trying to figure out who the girl was. Her face was swarming all over in my head until I remember the smirk she gave me. And that’s when I knew exactly who she was.
It was M-bone. And it all came back to me. The interviewer looked just like one of the girls from the gang. Her name was Kaleena and she had tattoos that resembled hers. Then I realized it WAS Kaleena from the gang.
“Talia? You okay?” I looked over at Tori. I shook my head and grabbed her hand, dragging her towards the front and leaving the girls behind. “Is Aiko and Elana inside?” She nodded and looked at me worried.
“Why?” I continued to walk inside, looking around for both of them. “Because, that interviewer? That was Kaleena.” I spotted Aiko chatting up some really cute guy but she had to know that they were here.
I headed off into her direction and tapped her shoulder. “Sorry but I need to borrow her for just a second please?” He nodded assumingly and she looked at me weird when he walked off. Me, Aiko, and Tori went to a back area where no one could see us.
“Aiko we have a problem.” She looked at me expectantly as to continue. “M-bone and Kaleena is here and by the looks of it, they have something planned.”
