Fun's Just Starting
Louis POV.
As we walked in, the place seemed even more crowded than before. I pulled Talia closer to me so she won’t get separated while we went through the crowd, looking for our table were the rest of the group was.
I stopped and looked around for any sign of were the boys. I felt a tap on my shoulder, causing me to look down at Talia. “OVER THERE”, she pointed over to an area. I could barely hear her voice but I looked over to where she was pointing and spotted Zayn and Lina at a big table so I guess that’s where they were.
I nodded my head and we went in that direction. As we got closer to the table, Harry had looked at us and smiled widely. I smiled back and waved at the others who attention was now on us.
We stopped in front of the table and I really couldn’t get the smile off of my face because I just knew that they knew something happened between us. “Hey guys! Where ya been? We were worried about yall!” I chuckled at Niall’s little drunk outburst.
I looked at Liam, tilting my head to the side. “How many drinks was it this time?” He held up 5 fingers and I chuckled to myself as I sat down beside him with Talia on my other side. I leaned in so Liam could hear as I whispered in ear. “Feel defeated don’t you?” I pulled back and looked at his reaction.
He nodded his head only making me laugh at his gesture. Ever since Niall turned the age to drink in America, he has taken every chance as honestly, the boy cannot hold his liquor at all. It’s quite funny because that’s when all his deep dark secrets are revealed so we like to mess with him A LOT.
I was talking to Harry and Zayn when the topic of me and Talia came up. “So are you guys…” I nodded my head with a big smile on my face. I could see how happy they were for me. “That’s great mate. I really happy for you” I nodded my head in appreciation. “So how are you and Lina” I could tell how sincere his smile was as he looked over at her then back at me.
“Were doing great. I’m glad she finally opened up and let me in. I know she’s been put through a lot but I’m glad she trusts me a lot to let me into her life” His eyes never left her as he said it. I looked over at her and smiled to myself. Lina really was a beautiful person. I don’t know why anyone would want to hurt her. She has a great personality and is just the sweetest girl even though she tries to act tough which is so adorable. Lina is like a sister to me and I be damned if anyone tried to hurt her while any of us boys are around. I know Zayn would die for her.
“They really are some special girls, aren’t they?” Me, Zayn, and Harry were looking at the 3 most important girls right now. “Yes they sure are” I said lowly, almost to myself. My eyes never left Talia as I watched how close she was to those 2 girls she was sitting with. That beautiful smile never left her lips as they joked around.
I don’t know what I’d do if Talia ever left me. I don’t know what this feeling is but it felt great when it came from Talia. It wasn’t into my ear that she whispered, but into my heart. It wasn’t my lips she kissed, but my soul. The love I have for her is bigger than any other love combined.
Talia’s POV.
I was sitting between Azalea and Lina talking about nothing important. “You should have heard Niall though. He was all over the place and Tori got so embarrassed so many times that I thought I was gonna die from laughter!” I could not stop laughing at all the stories I heard about drunken Niall.
As we continue talking I could feel a pair of eyes on me from somewhere. I tried to brush it off but it was bothering me way too much. I scanned the room looking for the staring creep until my eyes landed on a pair of blue ones cross from me. I realized the staring creep was my boyfriend, Louis. I smiled at me and in return I smiled back at him. We stared at each other for a while before he mouthed “I love you” to me. My smile grew even wider as I mouthed it back to him.
“Speak of the devil” I looked over and saw Niall coming over to the table, Tori following closely behind him with a tired look on her face. “Excuse me guys” I decided I was going to help her out because Penelope was on the floor with a couple of our celeb friends and Liam just looked tired as hell so I decided to play mom for right now.
“Go sit down, I got this” She looked at me with a regretful look but her eyes told another story, “You sure Talia? I can han-“I titled my head to the side and smiled. “I got it Tori, go rest” She sighed in relief and she went to go sit down. I stood up and tried my best to hold Niall up.
“Niall you need to stop drinking” I could feel his hot breath against my cheek which made me shutter a little. “But Taliaaaaaaa I’m not drunkkkkk” clearly he was or his words wouldn’t be as slurred as they came out of his mouth.
“Yes you are and you’re going home now” I heard him about to argue with me. “But-“
“No buts Nialler. You’re going home and that’s it” He sighed and held his head down in defeat. I looked over at Louis who was in a conversation with Liam but I needed to pull him away so he could help me. “Hey Lou”
He looked up at me and could not contain his growing smirk on his face. “Don’t you dare laugh at me” At this point everyone at the table were looking at me, trying their best to hold their laughter. “Guyssss it’s not funny! I need someone to help me” No one moved or budged, they just sat there laughing at the situation going on in front of them.
My eyes met Lou’s again and he just thought this was so funny so I made him help me. “Louis since you think this is so funny, your gonna help me” He instantly stop laughing and looked at me with pleading eyes. “But whyyyy? Their all laughing to!” I shook my head and a smirk grew on my face.
“I don’t care your helping me and that’s it now hurry up before I get crushed. Niall is heavy as hell!” The rest of the group continued to laugh but Louis got up, sucking his teeth in the process.
He pulled Niall off of me and supported him on himself. “You start heading out, I’m going to grab our things” He nodded and headed to the exit. I went over to the table. “Hey guys we’ll see you guys when you get home. We have some babysitting to do” They nodded their heads with smiles still on their faces.
I grabbed my clutch, my phone, and Louis’ jacket and turn to leave when I heard Liam’s voice.
“Don’t do anything scandalous!” I turn back and looked at him. A seductive smirk made its way to my face as I fully faced them. “No promises made Li” I winked back at them and as I turn to walk away I heard whistles and shouts which only made me giggle as I left the building.
We decided to go the back because all the paparazzi was in the front along with news reporters and we don’t need another story about Niall being drunk again, especially at a ball. How bad would that look?
I made it to the car and opened the door of the passenger side. “Ready?” I nodded my head and closed the door.
“What took you so long, Niall is starting to get annoying talking about food!” I chuckled to myself. “Liam” Lou looked over to me with a confused face. “Oh, what he say?” I continued looking straight with a blank expression.
“To not do anything scandalous” I stated bluntly. There was a pause before Louis voice spoke up again. “Annnnnd what did you say?” I could tell he was a little nervous and hesitant but there was no need to be.
I looked over at him as he continued driving. I leaned in, close to his ear. “No promises made” and with that I faced forward with a sly smirk on my face. I could feel Louis eyes on me but I never once looked back at him.
Who said I couldn’t have a little fun when we got home? Whatever might happen at home, I surely was up for it.
