Never Let You Go {Book 2}

“Harry!” I shout as he comes through my front door “I’ve missed you love” I say as he glares at me

SHIT! He definitely knows something. He stands in the door way furrowing his eyebrows at me.

“Anything you’d like to tell me?” He asks

“Uhh, first off I’m sorry I didn’t tell you before you left. I went to Malibu to visit Niall. He is actually doing great and gets to go back home to London next week.” I say looking at the floor

“What? Cassie you went to see Niall? Behind my back? What the fuck” Harry says “All I wanted you to say was I love you, Jesus Christ Cassie can you not ever be trusted?”

“Niall it’s not as bad as you think” I say

“NIALL? HARRY! MY NAME IS HARRY!” he says furious now “How long were you there?”

“Fuck sorry ummm I was there for four days, most of the time we hung out at the beach.” I say crying now

“Just tell me Cassie did you fuck him?” Harry asked hurt in his eyes
“What? No” I lied “I’m with you Harry; I love you”

“I love you too. So the beach huh did you at least have fun?” Harry asked relaxing a bit

“Yeah the beach was amazing, the water is so clear and the warm weather was nice, we also went to Disneyland on the last day before I came back home” I tell him

“I see, well as long as you had fun and there isn’t anything I need to worry about then I guess I’m ok with it” harry says giving me a hug

What the fuck am I going to do? I hope to go the Paps didn’t get any pictures of Niall and me kissing each other or holding hands for that matter Harry will blow a gasket. He’s become very possessive lately and I’m not liking it at all. I can’t even talk to Louis or Liam without Harry thinking I’m trying to screw them or something.

THREE DAYS LATER

My phone is ringing off the hook today first my brother then my dad and now my brother again. I’m sitting here in history bored out of my mind. What the hell is going on? After my brother calls me for a third time I finally ask to use the restroom so I can answer my phone.

“Hello” I say

“Cass you have to leave now, come to the hospital” Nate says between sobs

“What? Why?” I ask concerned

“Grandpa had a heart attack and fell outside” he says

“Uhm Ok be there soon” I say trying to hold back the tears burning my eyes

I got back to class and gather my stuff and tell the teacher I have to leave. He of course tells me I can’t just walk out of school

“I can do whatever the fuck I want to do” I shout at him not giving a shit if he turns me in

I arrive at the hospital and find my way to his room, he’s not here; nobody is around. I hurry back to the front and ask for Glenn McGavin.

“He’s been taken into surgery you can find the rest of the family in the surgery waiting area” she tells me

I swiftly make my way downstairs to the waiting area, I find my family in the corner.

“Grandma, what happened?” I say hugging her tightly

“Grandpa fell outside but the doctor is saying he’s had a massive coronary” she explains

“They are doing a triple bypass right now Cass, he’s had three clogged arteries for a while now. Nobody’s told you because we didn’t want you to worry.” Dad says

“This is what pisses me off about you guys! You never keep me in the loop. That is my grandfather he’s the most important man in my life why do you think for one minute I wouldn’t want to know there was something wrong with him” I shout tears running down my face

“Now Cassie baby settle down, just sit. Listen you’ve been through a lot and grandpa told everyone to not tell you. He worries about you, he loves you with all he has and your brother too.” Grandma says

I can’t take sitting here any longer. Grandpa has been in surgery for almost four hours now. I go outside to get some fresh air and call Taylor.

“Hey Tay what’s up?” I say when she answers

“Nothing much just got Jo down for a nap,waiting to hear from Lou. What’s wrong you sound like you’ve been crying?”

“My grandpa is in surgery right now. He had a massive heart attack and is now having a triple bypass, it’s been hours now and its starting to scare me.” I tell her my voice cracking

“Oh sweetie just pray I’m sure he’ll be fine. He’s a fighter. I love you boo” Taylor says to me

Deep down in my heart I know he’s a strong man and he will be ok but part of me can’t help to think what would happen if things went bad. He just can’t die, he can’t.
