Beautifully Cold

Our Hands were intertwined while the moon shined, illuminating her true beauty. Our shoulders touching while we layed on the grass watching the world pass us by as though we were the audience to a much bigger picture. "why is the moon so lonely"? She says, her voice small like she was just talking to herself. "because its a lifeless creature" I said ruining the moment. None the less, she laughed.She turned her head to me, showing me how white her teeth are. "Because she used to have a lover."
"you tell this to the kids" We both laughed once more. I love moments like this, i loved how her body fitted my perfectly, she was the key to my lock."His name was Kuekuatsu and they lived in the spirit world together."I nodded while thinking of something to say that would make her giggle because it certainty was my favorite sound.And every night, they would wander the skies together. But, one of the other spirits was jealous. Trickster wanted the Moon for himself. So he told Kuekuatsu that the Moon had asked for flowers; he told him to come to our world and pick her some wild roses. But Kuekuatsu didn't know that once you leave the spirit world, you can never go back. And every night, he looks up in the sky and sees the Moon and howls her name. But... he can never touch her again." I could tell she wanted me to take this serious but I just couldn't. Wow. Koo-koo-ka-choo got screwed."
"I dont hate you" she speaks after a moment of silence "I dont hate you too"


"ash" she tiredly speaks, her head on my shoulder "I dont hate you" A small smile took over my face while my eyes remained closed "I don't hate you too" suddenly she sits up, awaking my nerves and worry. "no, Ash, you dont get it" her palm touches my cheek,I lean in, enjoying the bolt of electricity i get every time. "get what?"
"I dont hate you Ashton, I love you"
