I've Got This Friend

"I'm ready Jess, what's taking you so long?" Ash groans as he enters my room. To say that he is excited to start back at school again is really an understatement.

"Maybe the fact that you woke up an hour earlier than me to get ready and I'm just now getting up." I shrug.

"Sorry babe, but I'm just ready to get back in a routine. And I'm glad that we get to share it this time." He smiles and leans in for a kiss. I press back, which makes him press back even harder and knocks me down off my elbows. "We could be late for school though." He murmurs and continues kissing my neck.

"Ash, I don't really th-ahh." I gasp as he finds my sweet spot and trails down to my stomach.
"You don't know how long I've been waiting to for this moment, Jess." Ashton pants.
"Oh my gosh, Ashton." I moan, as he inserts a finger into my heat.

"Payback from last night." He smirks and pumps two fingers in and out of me. I throw my head back and curl my toes inwards and grip on to his hair. Soon his face disappears and the wetness from his tongue becomes clear. I breathe a sharp breath of air, scared that Travis or my mum would walk in. "Mhm, babe." Ashton groans, coming up from me and placing his wet lips on mine as I taste myself.

Quickly he unbuckles his jeans an looks at me. "Are we really doing this?"

"You think your leaving me in this kind of state?" I rhetorically ask, and Ash inserts himself in me. I grip onto his neck and begin rocking back and forth with him, not finding it weird at all that I'm fucking my best friend.

"You feel so good." He whispers into my neck, as I buck my hips and wait to be met with my high. Ashton groan fairly loud, and I almost tense up scared that someone would hear, moments later Ashton pulls out and releases himself on my stomach.

He slightly blushes. "Sorry."

"I need to take a shower anyways." I say and stand up and grab a towel to wipe his substance off of me. "By the way, you should get a piece of gum. Your breath stinks now." I kick his words back to him after what he said to me the other night. I smile and get ready.

Ash takes in a deep breath as we stand at the school entrance. "Feels great to be back."
"Tell me if you still feel that way by the end of the day." I laugh, and he throws an arm around me as we enter the school.

People turn their heads in our direction in awe. Everyone thought that he was dead or that he didn't have a chance, but seeing them in the flesh probably takes them back some. As we turn the corner Jack stands there with a smirk on his face. "Looks like you've proved us all wrong, kitten." He winks and walks away.

"What was that Jess?" Ash wonders, looking around and taking notice in people whispering.

"Everyone thought you weren't coming back from this. Jack is just a dick."

"Oh.."

"I'm sorry, babe." I give him a smile and peck his lips.

"Hello happy couple!" Michael exclaims, tearing us from our kiss.

"Hi, Mikey." I smile and actually hug him since I finally forgave him since it wasn't his fault.

"Been a while since I've heard that name." He says and hugs me once more as if saying that we're good again.

Ashton picks up on it and gives us a sketchy look. "What's going on?"

"We're just happy to see each other after the sleepover." Michael grins. "I love my Jessie."

"Not more than me." Cal then joins the conversation, giving me a secretive nod. I nod back to him and laugh.

"Aco taco.." Ashton drags out. "Where's Luke?"

We all share a nervous glance with each other and shrug. "Maybe he's not feeling too well. He didn't look so hot when he was taking me home the other day."

"Oh.." Ash says. Then the bell rings.

"I'll see you after class babe." He smiles and kisses my cheek.

After class he wasn't there. He wasn't there after any of my classes. Mikey and Cal said that maybe he's been busy so that's what I'm going with. "So now that we're all back being friends and stuff..." Cal drags out grinning at Michael. "We say, that we all take a trip down memory lane."

"What?" I ask giggling.

"We're graduating in a month, so we need to get out of here. Get out of the town for a while. Remember what we all said we'd do once we graduated?" Mike says.

I smile remembering it. "New York?"

"New York!" We all say in sync.

Then my face falls. "What about Luke? He's obviously not stable enough to go away like that."

"We can talk to him about it. See how he feels. See how his mum feels. At least let him know that we care. Especially you. Let him know that you're trying and maybe he'll come around."
I nod. "Where do you think Ash is?"

"Probably caught up with work or something?" Cal shrugs.

"Maybe. He has been out for about two months."

The rest of our lunch is filled with laughter and jokes and stuff about how we're happy that the most of us are friends again. The day drags by after that. I had Michael in my class the last period so we walked out together to find Ashton standing by the pole we normally stand at and he looked pissed.

"Hey what's wrong?" I ask, as he hugs me tightly.

"If I don't pass this test, I don't graduate." He sighs holding up his textbook with papers.

"But, but New York" Michael says sadly.

"I know.. sorry."

"It's gonna be fine, we'll help you study, you won't fail." I assure him although I really had no clue what the outcome would be.

"Can we go home now?" He says.

"Didn't have such a good day after all, huh?" I pat his back.

"I forgot how stressful it is." He laughs and we load in the car with Michael and Calum following behind.
