Enola lay beside me with a smile on her face. I gently glided my fingers over her spine. She hummed quietly at the feeling. I leaned over and kissed her temple lightly. Her eyes closed and she sighed.
"Harry." She whispered.
"Yeah, baby?" I replied letting my fingers dance up her arm slowly. I kissed her shoulder as softly as possible. It felt as though she should never be kissed or touched in any other way.
"What got into you?" Enola inquired without looking at me.
I chuckled, "What do you mean?"
Her big blue eyes opened and met mine, "The incredible sex we just had." I lifted my eyebrow at her, not sure of what she was getting at. She huffed, "One second we're talking about the people that I met doing a photo essay; the next we're making love like you're never going to see me again. What is going on in your head?" She rephrased. I blushed. I knew what she was getting at. I knew why I was so intense with her. "Harry, talk to me." Enola murmured. I could tell by her eyes that she was a bit concerned.
"I just..." I sighed and shrugged. "I dunno. Listening to you talk about these people and the way you care for them and wanna be a part of their lives in a way and what you're doing to help them." I began. I gazed into her compassionate eyes. "It...it makes me love you more. It makes me want to see things the way you do."
Enola grinned, "You can." I stared at her blankly. She sat up and pulled my wrist gently, "Come on, Harry." She stood from the bed in an elegant motion. I watched her with awe. Everything about her was divine: from the way she looked to the way she moved. "Come on, baby." She beamed at me as she pulled on my t-shirt and a pair of yoga pants. I got up from the bed quickly and dressed myself.
Enola and I snuck into the kitchen to get her laptop. We weren't taking any chances on waking the boys. She snatched up her laptop then my hand. She dragged me to the table. She set up her laptop quickly after pushing me into a chair.
"Do you want a drink baby?" Enola asked as she went to the fridge.
"Please." I murmured waiting for her laptop to turn on. I was concentrating so hard on Enola's laptop that I didn't noticed she's returned to my side. She touched my arm gently to get my attention. I smiled up at her as she placed a beer in my hand. I noticed she had one as well. "Beer?" I inquired of her with a smile.
She giggled, "You need to relax, sir." I smiled wider as she sat in my lap. I settled my arm around her waist loosely as she typed in her password. After just a moment, the photo of her grandfather appeared, earning a small smile from Enola. She navigated the system quickly, pulling up a folder filled with over one hundred pictures. "These are the wonderful people I met." Enola announced, a picture of a dozen men and women ranging in age appeared on the screen. "It's only about half but some of them were too self-conscious to get their picture taken for this." Enola informed me. I nodded and she moved on to the next picture.
As Enola showed me pictures, she told me the names and stories of the people she had photographed. She was so involved in what she was telling me that she didn't notice the tears on my face. When she did, she felt terrible.
"Oh my goodness! Harry, what's the matter?" Enola's worry was written all over her face. I shook my head quickly. "Harry, please, tell me."
"You're amazing for trying to help them." I answered her, my voice just above a whisper.
She shrugged, "I've not done anything for them. I listened to them talk and took their picture."
I shook my head once again, "That can mean the world to someone. Think about it, you're going to put this in a public forum, tell these stories. If people take hold of all of this information, things can change. They could make shelters or homes that are specifically for this situation. You're doing a lot. I can't believe you don't realize it." I was baffled by her naivety. Enola grinned. She knew all that I had just told her.
"And now you see things the way I do." She whispered before kissing my lips lightly. I held her tighter and deepened the kiss.
"Show me more. Show me something else you're working on." I said backing away from her lips. She nodded and pulled up another folder with even more photos.
"This is the other photo essay. It's about the environment. Pollution, over population, the effect we have on wildlife." She informed me. I nodded and leaned closer to the computer screen, hugging her tightly against me.
"Harry? E?" I heard Liam's voice in the doorway to the kitchen. Both Enola and I looked up from her computer. "What are you two doing up? It's nearly four in the morning." Liam inquired like he was upset with us.
"Nothing." I replied before taking a sip of the beer Enola had gotten me. Liam gazed upon Enola and I with intent eyes. I felt awkward as his eyes roamed over Enola's body. I tightened my grip around her waist and placed my hand between her thighs, gripping her flesh gently. It was a stupid and completely possessive gesture but I didn't care. Liam smirked as Enola leaned into me, resting her forehead against my temple.
"Maybe the two of you should go to sleep soon. We do have planes to catch this afternoon." Liam suggested trying to keep from snickering.
Enola chuckled, "Get some rest Liam. We'll see you when you get up." She was basically telling him to get out in the most polite way possible. Liam nodded and walked out of the room lazily.
I sighed heavily and mumbled, "Snoop." Enola giggled softly, causing Liam to look back into the kitchen. "Go to bed!" I snapped at Liam, trying to contain a laugh. Liam trudged up the stairs. I looked up at Enola, "Do you want to go to bed?"
"Do you?" She asked with a bit of a smirk.
I whispered in her ear, making sure my lips brushed her skin, "Sleep is the last thing on my mind." Enola bit down on her lip and gave me the sultry expression I melted for. I pressed my mouth to hers. As she twined one hand in my hair, the other slid down my unclothed chest. "Fuck the bed." I grunted as her fingernails skimmed the waistline of my underwear. I slammed her laptop shut before pushing it aside. I set Enola up on the table with a cheeky grin. Enola grabbed my wrists as I reached for her shorts.
"Harry!" She squealed. "The boys could just walk in here." She whispered as I removed her shorts with ease.
I smirked, throwing her clothing on the floor, "Don't care. I've only got you for another..." I looked to the clock in the corner. "Thirteen hours. I'm taking advantage of 'em." Enola giggled and kissed me lightly. I slowly caressed every centimeter of her thighs. I took my time exploring every corner of her mouth with my own. She leaned into me, burying her hands in my hair. I laughed into her mouth. Enola backed away with a curious expression. "What?" I inquired dragging a finger down the inside of her thigh.
She stifled a moan, "Why do you do that?"
"Do what?" I replied moving my lips up her neck as lightly as possible.
She answered, "You laugh or get this look when I touch your hair." I grinned when I noticed how hard she was trying to hold in the little sounds she made when she was aroused. I was teasing her most sensitive mound of flesh with my fingers.
"You always touch my hair, run your fingers through it, pull it when we're like this. Even before it was long. Hands always in my hair." I informed her, gazing into her eyes.
Enola giggled mid moan, “I've never been like that with anyone else. It's just with you." I removed my hand from between her legs. Her face dropped, "Harry, what's the matter?"
"Why would you say that?" I asked feeling a kind of anger bubbling in my chest.
"What? That I like your hair?" She seemed completely confused.
I grunted, "No. Bring up other guys you've been with." I took a step back from her.
She quickly closed her legs and leaned toward me, "I didn't mean to make you upset. It's not like I went into detail. I'm just saying you're the first guy whose hair I loved. I said it to tell you you're special." I folded my arms over my chest anyway. "I can't believe that you're playing the jealousy card right now."
"You brought it up, Enola." I stated quickly.
"Are we seriously arguing right now? We're leaving in thirteen hours and you want to talk about something stupid that doesn't matter?" Enola asked me with mean eyes.
"No." I mumbled dropping my arms to my sides. Enola's eyes softened and she pulled me to her by my hips. She wound her arms around my neck and her legs around my waist.
"Why are you so upset with me?" Enola inquired gently.
I sighed heavily, "You're my girl. I don't want to think about anyone else touching you the way I do."
"Nobody could ever touch me the way you do, Harry." Enola stated softly. "I love you. I never loved anyone before you. I didn't mean to make you jealous. You're so very different from everyone I've met and I wanted you to know that." Enola smiled weakly at me to lift my mood. I nodded slowly. "Harry, I love you." Enola murmured resting her forehead on mine. I wrapped my arms around her waist and held her even closer to me.
"I love you, Noli." I whispered.
