Harry’s POV

From Valerie: I’m going to your place tonight with Louis. Will u be there?

To Valerie: I mean if u r coming then I’ll have to go...

From Valerie: LOL you’re mean.

She then sends me a pic of Louis and her with puppy eyes. I have to laugh at them.

To Valerie: Can’t wait to see u.

At six they have finished shooting and Louis texts the lads to come over with Soph and any friend Niall can possibly bring. I wonder if Val has invited Sandra and I wish she has. I’ll invite her myself but I don’t have her number. Ten minutes later someone knocks the door and I know it’s going to be Niall since he is the only sick one who would arrive this early. I was right.

-Niall, that was quick man. Were you waiting for us to invite you over hidden in our bushes?

-That’s exactly what I was doing, my pal.

We both chuckle and he comes in. He asks me about Valerie and I try to explain to him our one month long relationship. He gives me a funny frown and then he asks me if I have already had sex with her. I mess with him a little bit but then I tell him the truth.

-What? What are you doing man? Have you seen her in her bikini? Jesus, don’t waste your time, man!

I throw him a crisps and it hits his head. We are making dinner for the lads and the girls. I was thinking on preparing some nachos with cheese since I know Perrie loves then and then I remembered that Zayn was no longer over here hence I barely see Perrie anymore. I miss the two of them but it was Zayn’s decisions and I respect it. Liam, Sophia and Louise and Tom with baby Lux came over before Louis and Val arrive. What the hell are they doing?

When Lux sees me she comes running towards me so that I pick her up and she hugs me with her little arms. I am her godfather and I drool over her to be honest. I put Lux up on the counter and she starts telling me her stories while I make dinner. Lou is helping me while the lads are on the garden and then I see Lux looking behind me amused and I feel someone’s arms wrapping my waist from my back. I feel Val leaning her head on my back and hugging me tighter and I let out my fool smile which she always takes from me.

-Hey, Lou. – She says releasing me after a minute of sweet hug. She walks towards Lou and kisses her cheek. – It’s great to see you. I wish we could meet more often.

Lou smiles but she stills think Val is trouble. I mean Louise needs a bit of female time and she doesn’t particularly get much along with Sophia although she is a sweet girl and I know she would get along with Val. She could use a bit of Val’s time if she gave her a chance.

-And who is this beautiful baby girl over here? – Valerie says turning towards Lux. Lux smiles sheepishly and hides her face behind my back. – Is she hiding? Why would she hide? Oh, I see....she is Harry’s wife!

Lux laughs slightly and Louise is smiling at her daughter as a fool whilst I’m smiling at Val as a fool. We all are fools. Lux asks me if Val is Acquarella and I chuckle confused at her.

-So I’ll have to make a conjuring trick to know this little girl. – Val says with a sudden and great British accent and I look at her surprised.

Lux sticks her head out of my back excited and screams happily making Val laughs.

-There she is! What’s your name? Oh, no, let me guess. – Lux nods smiling excited. – Your name is....Harry! – Lux laughs shaking her head. – Isn’t it? Oh, dear...Then....Meatball! – Lux laughs harder. – It’s Meatball! I knew it!

-It’s not Meatball! It’s Lux! – Lux shouts while she laughs.

-Oh, right! You are Lux Squarepants. I’m sorry I forgot. – Valerie says leaning next to her on the counter and Lux laughs as hard as a three year old can laugh. – Do you want me to show you a magic trick?

Lux nods excited and Valerie puts her down on the counter and takes her hand leading her to the garden. I see the two of them playing like Valerie was a little kid too.

-That was sweet. – Louise says eating some crisps.

-I know. She is good with kids.

-Yes, that was sweet too but I was talking about the way you were looking at her. - I throw some lettuce to her hair. She is eleven years older than me and she teases me all the time.

We then set the table and take our seat. Lux insisted that she wanted to sit down next to Valerie and Val says she would make sure Lux eats or she would do “some magic so that Lux eats cauliflower for the rest of her life every single day”. That scares the shit out of Lux who ate better than ever. I learnt during our dinner that Valerie’s first movie was Acquarella and that it was one of those Disney Channel movies that all little girls get to watch. Louis and I are definitely watching that movie to make endless fun of Valerie.

Val takes her seat next to me and next to her, there is baby Lux. As soon as Val sits down she takes my face with her hands and pecks my lips. Then we all have dinner laughing at this and that and I find myself with my arm around Val’s chair. She places her hand in my knee at some point and that makes me smile comfortable as hell. It feels so natural that I’m sure that’s how things are suppose to be for us.

After we had dinner, we were chatting in the garden and baby Lux was following Val around all the time. Apparently they are besties now. I see them talking to Sophia and then laughing with Louis, probably messing around. The three of them are kids. Then Lux introduces his daddy to Val and Tom and Valerie chat for quite long. Louise tries to catch Lux’s attention when she thinks Lux is bothering Val but Valerie tells her it’s fine and I know it is. Then Valerie walks towards me, Lux following her. Val hugs me while I’m talking to Tom. I wrap my arms around her and keep on talking to Tom. Then I feel baby Lux hugging my leg as if she was a mini Valerie and I have to laugh.

-Are you Harry’s wife? – Lux asks to Valerie and Val laughs and bends to be at Lux’s height.

-Don’t you think I’m too young to be married? – Val asks to Lux and Lux shrugs.

-If you love him, you marry him.

Valerie throws her head back laughing and Tom shakes his head taking Lux on his shoulder at which the baby girl shouts excited.

-I love her. – Val says smiling at me and I smile at her.

-She loves you. Jesus, it was impressive how you two have got along. Even Lou was jealous.

Valerie bends over me and kisses my lips tenderly. It was supposed to be a peck but I don’t let her go taking her mouth with mine and bending towards her when she tries to pull out. She smiles in my mouth and tells me that there are people around.

-Let them stare. – I tell her in between our kiss and she lets my tongue play with hers until she plays back with mine.

When we pull out from our kiss our lips are red. Eventually Louis liked our idea of having this weird relationship but for some reason I want to know what Sandra thinks about it. I wonder if this is something Valerie usually does because for sure it’s not what I usually do. She then leads me to where everyone is and sits me down on a hammock, sitting down next to me and placing her legs over mine. Then baby Lux comes over her again and Valerie braids Lux’s hair while she listens to what the lads are telling and add some comments to their stories. She is so comfortable around everyone that I hope she gets to share a lot of moments like this with us. Her phone rings and it happens to be next to Louis.

-Louis, answer please!

Louis picks her phone up; so they trust the one another that way.

-Hey, Sandra. Come over. We are having some people at our place. – I see him smile I suppose because Sandra is laughing. She hasn’t even said anything and Louis invites her over. – Alright, alright, you can talk to Val if you don’t want to talk to me, but be aware that you are breaking my heart. – He says pretending to be heartbroken.

-Hey, Sands. Come over. – Valerie is just as Louis, geez.

Valerie then laughs and then she starts to speak Spanish with Sandra. I catch my name sometimes and also Louise, Lux and Sophia. When she hangs up she stands up from her spot all natural and go inside. When I start to think she has just gone she reappears and takes a seat next to Louise instead of next to me. I see them two chatting and then she invites Soph to join them and the three of them laugh and talk about their stuff. I like to see her getting along with my female best friend and one of my best’s friends girlfriend. She belongs here too.

Over an hour later she looks at her watch and stands up smiling. She kisses Soph’s and Lou’s cheeks and then she picks up Lux and kiss her on the cheek. Val takes a bracelet off and puts it on Lux’s little wrist making Lux smiles proudly. Then she looks at me and catches me staring at her which is a bit embarrassing. She comes towards me and sits on my lap wrapping my neck with her arms. Her scent embraces me and I immediately regret not telling her to come back to her seat before.

-I’m leaving. – She says looking at me and caressing my cheeks with her hands.

-Do you have to? – I whine and she laughs.

-Kinda. I’ll see you tomorrow.

-I hope tomorrow you pay more attention to me. – I say to her looking at her belly and she takes my chin to lift my head.

-Tomorrow you are going to end up fed up with me.

-I hope so.

She bends towards me and kisses me long and I kiss her back. I don’t care if it’s awkward for my friends; they don’t need to stare at us. Apparently she cares because she wouldn’t let me kiss her mouth with my tongue and she pulls out before I would have liked her to. She pecks my lips one more time and stands up.

-You guys I’m off. I had fun so thanks and it was nice to meet you Tom. – She says and before leaving she grabs my hand and makes me stand up leading me to the door.

-I thought you were leaving. – I tell her amused.

-I am leaving. I just want to say goodbye to you. Are you throwing me out? – She asks amused to.

-I have told you I don’t want you to go.

-No you had not, but you have now. Come here.

She puts herself behind the hall wall and I put myself effectively on top of her. Then she wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me slowly and tenderly but then she caresses my back through the fabric of my t-shirt until her hands are at the hem of it and she introduces her hands, scratching my back with her nails. We kiss slowly enjoying each other’s taste and then she pulls away pecking my lips a few times before hiding her face on the crook of my neck and inhaling deeply.

-Now I really don’t want you to go. – I say hugging her and she chuckles.

-See you tomorrow.

Valerie pecks my lips one last time and walks out the door.
Valerie’s POV

When I come back home I have a few minutes left until Roger comes over as Sandra has told me so we both chat about this and that while she puts some body lotion on her body. I volunteer to give her a back massage with her body lotion and she smiles as a kid. There is no one in the world that loves a massage more than Sandra.

We have talked about Harry. She really likes Harry even if she doesn’t know him that much since she is always busy and can’t have fun with me and the guys. I can tell that she is somewhat concerned though and she has literally asked me to not hurt Harry. What kind of monster does she think I am? I mean it’s probably Harry who is going to hurt me. I know how I am and I know if I let him get to deep with me, then he would have it all because that’s how I work. I gave everything I had to Doug and that’s why he broke everything I was when we were done.

I really like Harry and I still have a month with him but I don’t want to think about what’s gonna happen when he leaves. I think I’ll look for a project as a crazy woman when he goes back to England to get myself distracted and I’m sure in a few weeks I’ll be fine. I really want to meet some actors and new directors that I would like to work with such as James Franco. He is doing some cool stuff lately.

When Roger comes into my house it’s already nine in the evening and he takes a seat at the couch placing a stack of sheets on the table.

-It might be crazy because you have just shoot Bonnie and Clyde, but Jim Sheridan himself called me for this. He literally said: Valerie Veneel is Ella.


I know my mouth is open. Jim Sheridan? What the hell? He is my favourite director of all times alongside with David O. Russell. Jim Sheridan was the director for the best movie of all times which is In the name of the father which also has the best actor of all times who is Daniel Day Lewis. I keep on looking at Roger with my mouth open. I can’t believe I might be working with Jim Sheridan in my twenties.

-Valerie, say something. – Roger says chuckling and I feel Sandra’s hand on my back.

-When do I start? – I ask him and he throws his head back laughing.

-I knew you would say yes. You have to think about it though kiddo, you’d have to meet Sheridan in Dublin three weeks after the shooting of Bonnie and Clyde is done and it might be exhausting. He said you were Ella and look how the movie is called.

I look to the stack of sheets that rests on my table and I read Ella on the first page. So I get the main character.

-So in a month and a half I’m going to Dublin to do my Screen Test?

-I don’t think you need to do a Screen Test, kiddo. He told me that you were Ella and that if you weren’t interested then he would have to find someone else.

-Jesus Christ. I’m in shock now. This is too much to handle. – I think I’m going to cry of excitement.

Even though it might seem stupid for some people, it is such a big deal for me. I’ve grown up rewatching my favourite movies one time and another and going to the bathroom to play my favourite characters in front of the mirror. I have seen In the name of the father almost a thousand times and I recommend that movie to everyone who ever ask me. Sandra seems to be more excited than I am just because I can’t believe it yet.

-Do you want me to tell you more about it or you have already enough on your plate?

-Are you kidding me? Go on! – Now I can show my enthusiasm.

He tells me that the movie is going to be shot both in Ireland and in Brazil and that I’m working with Robert Downey Jr and Liam Hemsworth and here comes the bad news; Jim Sheridan wants Douglas Booth as one of the other characters. Sandra caressed my back when Roger said that.

-Alright, I know that sounds like a barrier for you at the moment and you can do whatever you want but consider that you have been craving to work with Jim Sheridan since I know you and it is a great cast and a great opportunity. I’ve been reading what the movie is about and Sheridan is right. You are Ella.

-I’m doing this movie no matter what. – I told them.
