Chapter 2- Behind the scenes
Niall's POV
I am sitting on a chair in my dressing room when I hear knocking on my door. I am not in the mood for anything so I don’t answer. The door opens revealing Harry, Liam and Louis. I try to sound jolly as I say “So what’s up lads?” They look at me in silence as they cautiously approach me as if I’m a bomb that might explode any minute. The silence is then broken by Louis “What happened Niall? You don’t seem yourself” he tells me. I look at my fingers. “Just tired” I mumble hoping that they drop the subject. They aren’t buying it. “Don’t give us any of that tired crap” Harry begins.” You have been looking down since you went to Camille’s house which makes us believe that something unpleasant happened there.”Liam concludes. I suddenly find my fingers really interesting.” Did she cheat on you?” Harry tries. I dig my fingernails in my palm as I ball up my fists. “Niall we know you well enough to know that when you react that way we hit the nail on the head” Liam says. I turn my head towards the window silently begging my friends to leave. “Do you want to talk about it?” Harry asks. I stay silent. “Niall if you change your mind you know ...” Liam begins but before he can say anything else I interrupt him. “I had bought a ring because I was gonna ask her to spend the rest of her life with me” I begin.” I wanted to surprise her, but when I opened the door I found her having sex with another man “I tell them through clenched teeth. “ I punched that guy in the face while Camille tried to stop us. I asked her what was going on and she said I was boring so she was having a bit of fun” I finish. “She is a slut” Louis says. “You deserve way better” Liam agrees. I feel better after telling them and I’m glad they don’t think I’m a loser for being upset about it. Harry then starts smiling. “We got a concert today so you can always find somebody else” he says winking at me. I roll my eyes at him and laugh at his childishness. I don’t think anyone could take my mind off Camille but I guess it’s worth a shot. After all I have nothing to lose.
