Strong (Book 2 in the No Control series)

When I get back to the house, the guys have left. Liam has a romantic candlelight dinner all ready for me. I wrap my arms around his waist. “Thank you baby, this is perfect.”
Liam grins. “You are welcome, there’s another surprise I have for you later though.”
I smirk. “Mmm, I can’t wait.”
Liam laughs. “Ok, make that two more surprises.”
Over dinner Liam asks me how gown shopping went. “I found the absolute perfect wedding gown, Liam.”
He smiles. “Well it must be an amazing dress, you literally just lit up talking about it.”
After dinner, Liam takes my hand and leads me to the lounge.
“I have an engagement present for you, love.” Liam tells me.
I frown. “Liam, I don’t want you buying me gifts.”
He grins. “I think you’ll want this one.”
Hmm. I’m curious now. Liam hands me a beautifully wrapped box. I look up at him. He is beaming, anxious for me to open it. I peel back the paper and bow and open the lid of the box.
Inside is a picture of the villa in Italy. I notice some papers behind the picture but I don’t look at those. I look up excitedly at Liam. “You were able to get the villa for the wedding?”
Liam grins. “You could say that. Look at the papers behind the picture.”
I look back down at the box. I move aside the photo and begin to read the top of the paper. I see ‘deed’ ‘property’ and my name. Then it hits me. Oh dear Lord! I stand up and walk to Liam. I look up into his sparkling eyes. “You bought me the villa, Handsome?”
He puts his hand in my hair. “Yes, Beautiful, I did.”
My eyes fill up with tears. Tears of absolute love for and amazement of this incredible man. ”Liam, it’s too much.”
He smiles. “Not really. come sit and I’ll tell you the story.” He leads me to the overstuffed chair and takes a seat. Then gently pulls me onto his lap.
“Antonio called me to let me know the owner of the villa was having financial issues and was thinking of selling it. I knew I couldn’t take a chance of us losing our special place. Antonio told the owner how much the place meant to us. He agreed to sell it to us at a great price. And I promised he’d receive his money quickly.”
I just stare into Liam’s eyes for a moment. “Thank you Liam. This is the best gift ever. You are so incredible. No one in this world has a bigger heart than you.”
“I’d do anything to see that smile on your face, Beautiful.”
I blush. “So the next time we go there...it will be ours!”
“It’s all yours, love.”
I straddle Liam.“ I need to thank you properly for this amazing gift, Mr. Payne.”
Liam eyes grow dark as I put my mouth on his. My tongue relentlessly explores his mouth. I bite his lip as I pull away. His lips move to my neck. Liam lifts me up from the chair and carries me effortlessly upstairs.
Once in the bedroom, we slowly undress each other. Kissing every inch of the other as it becomes bare.
In the bed, I start off on top of Liam. My lips all over him. When he can wait no more, he flips us. Now he is on top. We join together. He entwines his fingers with mine and moves them together to rest above my head. Our grip tightens as passion increases. Our rhythm is perfect. Just before we both go over the edge, Liam whispers in my ear. “What have you done to me, Beautiful? You own me, love. All of me.”
At that moment we both explode. I scream out Liam’s name over and over.
After, Liam lies beside me. Our hands still entwined, now resting together on my stomach.
I look into Liam’s eyes. “I love you so much, Handsome. Sometimes I feel like ‘I love you’ just aren’t big enough words to express how much I feel for you. I absolutely breathe for you, Liam. You are truly the other half of me.”
Liam kisses my nose. “I know, Beautiful. Words don’t exist that can express how much I feel for you, how much you mean to me.” He pauses and smirks. “I think what we just did expressed it pretty well though.”
