Strong (Book 2 in the No Control series)

Just as Liam and I are planning the fastest way out. Ben Winston announces that he has a special gift for us.
“Recently I sat down with Liz and Liam separately and asked them to describe how they felt about the other.”
Liam and I look at each other. We had no idea the other had done that.
“What they don’t know, is that I actually filmed them. I’m going to show a little portion of it now, the rest is just for the two of you. You are the most amazing couple I’ve ever met. I wish you only the best.”
The video begins with Ben asking Liam if he would change anything about our relationship. “No. I wouldn’t change one thing. Even when she went to Paris and we were apart for a few days. Because it taught me that I couldn't live without her.”
I’m not prepared for the look of complete love on Liam’s face. I mean I see the genuine, loving look on his face when he looks at me and tells me he loves me. It takes my breath away every time. Yet watching him as he tells someone else how he feel about me. It’s a whole other emotion.
Next Ben is asking him about the first time we met. Liam’s face lights up. “The very first moment I laid eyes on her, I knew we had a connection.”
I look up at him and smile. “Me too.” I whisper.
The screen changes to me. Ben is asking me if things have changed in our relationship.
Instead of watching the screen, I turn to watch Liam watching the screen.
“The funniest thing is I still get weak in the knees when I walk in a room and Liam smiles at me.”
Liam turns to look at me. He squeezes my hand and kisses my forehead. Then Ben is asking me if Liam gives me butterflies.
“I felt the butterflies take flight the moment I met Liam. I don’t think they will ever land.”
The screen switches back to Liam. Ben asks him. “What would you say to anyone who said another woman was more beautiful than Liz?”
Liam laughs. “I’d tell them they must be blind, mate. My Liz is the most beautiful woman in the world.” The film cuts to another clip.
“Liz may not have been my first, but she is my last. As long as I have her, I have everything.”
I gently lay my hand alongside Liam’s face. “Everytime I think I couldn’t possibly love you more Liam, you prove me wrong.”
Turning his head he kisses my palm. “Same, Beautiful.
