Strong (Book 2 in the No Control series)

My first check up appointment went well. The doctor says that everything is looking great. He reiterated still no sex though. Needless to say he’s not exactly our favorite person right now.
Poor Liam has been taking care of me for going on two weeks. He refuses to take a break, so I take matters into my own hands. Louis is on his way over to take Liam out, and Karen is coming by to hang out with me so that Liam won’t worry.
“Liz, I want to stay here with you.”
“Liam, you have been so amazing. You deserve a break. I’m feeling much better, and your mum will be here if I need anything. Besides, I don’t want you to get sick of me.”
Liam smiles, looking sweetly in my eyes. “Never!” Then he kisses me, passionately. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Karen smile and look down at the ground. I love that Liam isn’t afraid to show how he feels about me in front of anyone.
He reluctantly agrees to go hang with Louis for a bit. Karen and I have tea. “I can’t wait for the wedding, Liz. Oh, and to see your villa.”
“I can’t wait to share it with you, Karen. It’s so beautiful. And so very special to Liam and I.” I pause. “Karen, I don’t think I could ever find the words to tell you how very much I love your son.”
Karen smiles. “Liz dear, you don’t need words. The way you look at him, tells me everything.”
