Everything I Didn't Say

"Morning." Luke's raspy voice chimes from behind me.

We were tangled in his bed, his arms draped around my bare chest. "Oh my God, that wasn't a dream?"

Luke slowly sits up. "No. I-I thought you wanted it."

"Luke are you my boyfriend?" I ask, trying to ignore his reddened face. He sheepishly nods.

I sigh and lay back on the pillow. I gave myself to him last night. I knew I did, but a part of me wished I didn't. Then again, another part of me would want to take it back for the world. "Luke?"

"Hmm?" He hums. I raise up and lay my chest on his, molding our mouths together. "Mhmm." He moans.

"Addy. I'd love to do this all day, but our family has things planned today remember?"

I groan and detach myself from him. Without a word, I place my clothes back on my body. "Bye Luke. Uhm thanks for last night." I blush, and walk out without giving him time to respond.

"Isn't this fun?!" My mum exclaims in that annoying mum voice she gets when she get excited. I don't know if that makes since, but it does in my head.

"If we were in air conditioning and less people, than yes." Caleb whispers under his breath for only him and I to hear. I giggle agreeing with him. We were at the zoo. I hate this place.

"I see Shelby is taking a fancy in Luke." He says and nods his head to the direction of the two of them. Shelby was making laughing noises and walking really close to him. Luke was laughing along, but trying to keep his distance.

I decided long ago on the trip that I wouldn't walk around with him seeing as he kept trying to grab my hand, and make it noticeable that we were a couple. Trust me, I would show affection if I knew how too, but that's not the only problem Technically he's a part of the family. So technically in my parents' eyes were related. Even though we both know that's not true, that how our families would precieve it.

"Yep." I simply state, trying to hide the fact that my face was glowing red with jealousy.

"What's up with you two anyways?"

"What'd you mean?" I ask even though I know where this is going.

"Like I dunno, you guys seem like you've met before. It seems like you guys are hiding something." Caleb shrugs. He's always picked up on things that are off. I think he learned that trait from his parents.

"Huh."

"Huh?" He repeats me, following my eyes over back to Luke. "You like him don't you."

"Pshh, liking him is an understatement. I couldn't like him if he was the last person on earth." That's the way I felt before, but know I had no clue. My emotions we're all out of whack.

"Partner up everyone! We don't want to get lost!" Mum tells us as we enter a dark exhibit. Luke breaks from Shelby's grip, and darts to me, leaving Caleb and Shelby together.

"Luke." I groan.

"Your mine."

"For now." I sigh. As we enter, he interlocks his fingers in mine.

"It's really dark in here, Addy. We could just.." He lifts me up on him, without even being able to see and starts kissing me.

"Your kissing my chin." I giggle, and make my hands find his lips, placing them on his.

We completely stop walking, and he travels his hands up my shirt, massaging my breasts through my bra.

"Adeline? Luke?" I hear both, my mum and Liz call our names. We both laugh and find our way out of the dark tunnel.

"That was hot." Luke says, letting his warms breath tickle my neck as he bends down to talk to me.

"Absolutely." I grin, glancing down to see his hard on, knowing I will probably have to tend to that later.

"Bye, Andersons!" Liz smiles, waving us bye as they all walk back inside to house.

I follow my family inside, exhausted from the day I had today. "Goodnight guys I love you." I tell them and head up to my room. Quickly I change into a long night gown and high socks, crawling in under my cool duvet.

As I'm about to drift off to sleep, I hear taping on my window sill. The taping gets louder, so I wonder to get it.

The tall blonde boy stood outside on my patio, holing a giant stuffed penguin in his pjs. "Luke what are you doing here?"

"I couldn't sleep. I tried pretending this thing was you, but it didn't work. Can I sleep with you?"

I smile. "Of course. But what did you bring the penguin?"

"I'm giving it to you. If your ever away from me, and I cant be here to cuddle you and keep you warm, pretend it's me." The gesture almost made my heart melt.

"Goodnight Addy, I love you."

"Goodnight Luke. I know."
