Everything Has Changed

It had been a little over four years now since Tori welcomed her daughter into the world. She gave her the most beautiful name she had finally decided on at the time, it was perfect and she didn’t ever doubt it. Alexis Jane Horan. Simple and beautiful. The next three or so years of her life dragged on, ups and downs, twists and turns, but it all had been worth it.
November was almost over, Tori could hardly believe it. Lexi was growing too fast, and was becoming an amazing, kind-hearted, polite, sweet, beautiful, and wonderful little girl with the best personality in the entire world.
Alexis shares a birthday with Jana, a woman Tori could never imagine losing. November 2nd was a happy day, and a very special one too.
From the very moment Niall laid his eyes on the precious little granddaughter of his, he’s been in complete love, not wanting to let her go and never wanting her to leave.
As of now, however, Tori has more than Lexi to handle. When she met her current boyfriend and one of her best friends too, Cody Evans, back in July, little did she know that she’d becoming the only mother-figure in two little kids’ lives, and an older-sister figure to another one’s.
Along with Cody came Jagger Austin Evans, a four year old boy who will never, ever be able to sit still, full of energy, happiness, and no cares at all. He was naïve and adorable, just like every other little kid in the world.
Kaylee Jayce Evans is a 10 month old girl with the prettiest blue eyes and dark blonde hair, almost completely brown. This little girl needed a mother in her life, and Tori really wanted to make sure she had that.
Melanie Kate Evans wasn’t Cody’s child, however, but in fact she was his little sister of twelve years old. She was a girl who lost her parents at a young age, never able to fully understand anything afterwards. She suffered from depression and couldn’t focus on anything for a long period of time. But Tori knew all she needed was a friend, and that’s what she was going to give her.
Melanie gained something she’s never have too much of, a family. And she knows for sure that she’s got a bunch of people who love her, a bunch.
Tori never expected to walk out of that coffee shop with such a big smile on her face and a new friend that soon completed her life.
But she knows it was one of the best of her life so far. And she wouldn’t change it for anything at all, nothing.
