Real love tested.
chapter 17
I finally caught up to him and we made our way down a little park that Harry stopped at. Of course I was a little behind him pedalling at a snail’s pace because he was just way too fast. It is pretty amazing to be out in the open with Harry even if it was just a little park near my house; it gave us a break from being in that little flat in the backyard all the time. We put our bikes away and made our down to the green grass and sat there, we played on the sings, and went down the slide taking pictures of each other. We spent the whole day being young and in love. Harry then raced home and said he would be back in five minutes. So I waited for him and saw people walking past and thought Oh no they can’t come here, what if they see Harry and me together but thankfully they kept walking past. Harry returned with a blanket in his hand and a basket in the other. He laid down the blanket and set out the food and turned to me and looked into my eyes.
‘I’ve known about this little place for a while now’. Harry said to me.
‘wh’ I tried to respond but Harry cut me off.
‘I just want us to have a real possible date, I know it’s not much, but.’ Harry said to me.
“No it’s absolutely perfect, you’re perfect, I have never felt so special in my life or confident or anything really, you helped be become a more confident person and for that I am forever grateful. I love you Harry”.
He just continued to look at me, and I feel like the most beautiful girl in the entire world. We lay down on the rug and looked up at the stars the whole night. We are lucky nobody else came past. We spent the whole night in each other’s arms and sleeping next to Harry was my safe haven. I know that this is real love, I know some people say your first love never really lasts, but this is different I know we are going to be together forever.
The next morning the sun was blinding my eyes and I got up and started rubbing the sleep away from them. Harry next to me still is sleeping. His eyes then fluttered while trying to open them.
“Morning love”. He said as he kissed me gently on my forehead.
I got up off the rug that was all tangled and helped Harry get up; surprisingly he is not that heavy.
We made our way home, lucky last night was perfect whether wise.
We went straight in the flat and plonked ourselves on the couch and about to fall asleep. Then I heard a yell of my name, and it was my mum calling me she informed me I had a doctor’s appointment today. I have regular monthly doctor appointments due to my Kidney transplant seven years ago just to check everything is still working. Harry and I don’t really talk much about my health
