Chapter 32
Chapter 32 (Harry’s P.O.V.)
This was such a great idea. And I was so happy that I was the one who thought of it. What could I say? I just had this feeling that we should all drop in on Hannah and Louis knew that all the girls were there because he was talking with Tracey. I figured it would be a great surprise.
“Are we almost there yet?” Niall whined as we walked down the street.
“Almost.” Liam sighed. We all knew why he was whining, he was hungry. Again.
Liam had seemed to be in a really good mood since he had gotten back from his day out with Hannah yesterday. I mean, until the guys begin to pick on him again. I tried to stay out of it, because he needed at least one of us that wasn’t teasing him. Well, only Niall and Louis were teasing him, Zayn wasn’t saying much. I’m not sure if he has said one hundred words since Perrie stormed out yesterday. I couldn’t really blame him after what he told me. The sadness thing for me was that Zayn hadn’t seen this problem coming until Perrie shouted it out to him. To be honest, I wasn’t even sure what he was going to decide either.
“This is it.” Liam’s voice broke my thoughts. I looked up at the building as he walked in. I was hoping that this was the right building, because Liam was the only one who knew it and he had only been here the night that he meet Hannah, and that was a few weeks ago. I decided to not worry about it.
We all headed up, finding Hannah’s flat. We stood in front of her door, looking at each other.
“Oh for heaven’s sake.” Louis said, before reaching passed all of us and knocking on the door.
We all waited awkwardly in the hallway, watching the spot that Louis’s fist had just hit the door. It was moments later that the door was opened to see a confused Hannah.
“Guys?”
“Surprise!” Louis, Niall, and Liam all said with ridiculous grins on their faces.
“What are you doing?” she looked at us still confused. I think she understood that we were here as a surprise, but was wanting to know why.
I answered her, “We thought we would drop in on you and the girls.”
“Oh,” she nodded her head. “Well, don’t just stand there, come in.”
She pushed her door open and walked back into the room as we followed her.
“Hey Trace, I figured out why Louis was asking where you were.” Hannah pointed to us as we all walked inside. I was the last in, shutting the door.
“Louis!” Tracey yelled like an idiot before hugging him. I knew she was just being stupid, because Louis was too.
“Tracey!”
We all laughed at their antics. I think they tried to come up with crazy handshake on spot, but failed so they just hugged like idiots again. It was a little bit before we could all stop laughing for anyone to be able to form a functional sentence.
“So you weren’t kidding when you said you met the guys?” I didn’t recognize this voice at all. I turned to see a girl standing by Sabrina. She was about the same height as the rest of the girls. She had a naturally tan complexion with short dark hair with chunks of purple. I was breathless for a moment. I had to meet this girl.
“Who’s this?” I asked. I didn’t want to mess any time. I had a lot of ground to cover before this night was over.
“This is our friend Alice.” Sabrina motioned toward her.
We all began to introduce ourselves to her. We had all traveled to Hannah’s couch and single recliner. Niall was sitting in the recliner with Zayn leaning on the fender as Louis and Tracey sat in the floor to create a circle with the furniture. Liam was leaning against the fender beside me as I sat on one end of the couch next to Sabrina, Alice on the other side.
“Well, I’ll be right back.” Hannah announced as she walked back into the room with her purse.
“Where you going?” Tracey asked as she leaned back to watch Hannah with her head upside down.
Hannah walked over to the door, “I need to go pick up some more food, since the guys got here. I only bought for a party for four.”
“I’ll come with you.” Liam said as he stood up and walked over to her.
“Okay,” she waved at us, “Be back soon. Don’t trash my place.” I noticed how that last part was more of an order as I watched her and Liam disappear.
“I’m so glad you guys came over.” Sabrina clapped from beside me. I could feel the couch moving a little as she bounced. She had this whole smile on her face as she leaned forward.
“It was nothing.” Louis said. “It was all Harry’s idea actually.”
Sabrina leaned over and hugged me, “Thank you.”
I patted her shoulder, “It really was nothing.”
“You just had a good idea for a change.” Niall chuckled. I turned to glare at him. Why did he have to tease me now? I was about to try and talk to Alice and he wasn’t helping my case any.
“Ha ha,” I chuckled at him for a moment before quitting, “Not funny.”
This caused Niall to stop and look at me with this weird expression that made me laugh, which made Louis laugh. As soon as Louis began to laugh, so did Tracey who quickly passed it along to Sabrina and Alice. I could see Zayn smiling and trying to contain his own laughter. The whole room was filled with nothing but the sounds of our laughing for a long time. Every time we all tried to catch our breath, we looked at each other causing us to start all over again.
“So Alice,” Louis finally managed to catch his breath, “what do you do?”
Alice was still catching her breath. It was a moment before she could answer him, “I work back home as hair stylist.”
“Back home?” Zayn asked. I looked at him for a moment. I was happy that he was trying to socialize with everyone.
“I didn’t move after high school like these kids,” she said as she pointed to Tracey and Sabrina, “so I still live in Ohio.”
I looked over at her. She was from Ohio and hadn’t moved out here yet. That meant I had even more ground to cover.
“So what brings you to the city of angels?” I leaned back so I could see her.
Alice turned to me with her eyes squinting, “Let’s get this clear now, Styles.”
Styles? I had a bad feeling about where this conversation was about to go. She seemed to change into a completely different person when I spoke to her.
“Don’t even try it, because you’re not going to get anywhere.”
I was shocked. She was laying down the law right now. She was telling me that wasn’t allowed to pull any moves on her. I didn’t know what to say to that, but thankful Alice wasn’t finished.
“But to answer your question, the girls flew me out for my birthday.”
“It’s your birthday?” Louis asked excitedly.
She nodded her head. That was when Niall nearly shouted, “Happy Birthday!”
Zayn rubbed his ear as we all wished Alice happy birthday in a very uneven chorus. She told us thank you before Sabrina launched a conversation that we all joined. I was happy that she was talking. I think she knew just how awkward Alice’s words to me had made everyone.
“We’re back.” I looked up to see Hannah pulling the door open with her arms full of bags, Liam was right behind her with more.
“Food!” Niall exclaimed as he sprung from his seat at Hannah. His sudden movement caused the chair to rock and Zayn to lose his balance, landing on his back in the seat of the recliner. We all laughed as Zayn flailed to keep himself up, but failed.
“Niall! No!” I heard Hannah saying. She was trying to keep the hungry blonde away from the bags of food that she was holding. I felt really bad for her, no one had ever kept Niall away from food.

Sorry it is taking so long, but I am still working out some of the kinks in the storyline. I am hoping and planning to get working on it soon.
