Chapter 30

Chapter 30 (Liam’s P.O.V.)

I was so happy that I got to hang out with Hannah for the day. I had missed her while she was gone. I sighed to myself, I really needed to man up and tell her how I felt soon. But I didn’t think today was the best day, I just wanted today to be a day that we used to catch up. A day we could use to get back to where we were before she left for her movie.

Speaking of her movie, I wanted to hear all about it. I couldn’t believe that Hannah had gotten a leading part in a really anticipated movie from what was heard. I wasn’t even sure what the name of the movie was yet, but I planned to find that out today. I wanted to hear all about it. I wanted to hear how Sabrina was doing in the movie too.

“Hey!” someone yelled, catching my attention. I broke free of my thoughts and looked ahead. Hannah was standing on the corner of the next block, waving at me. She had a huge smile on her face. I couldn’t help but smile back as I waved and picked up my pace.

“Hey,” I said as I walked up beside her. “Someone sure is happy.”

“Well, I was afraid you wouldn’t come.” She said.

I looked down at her, “Why wouldn’t I come?”

She shrugged her shoulders, “Payback.”

I sighed, “I have no reason or deserve to give payback.”

She smiled up at me, “I know, but I was still worried.”

I shook my head at her as we began to walk down the street, “Don’t be.”

I grabbed her hand as we headed in a crowd. I didn’t want to lose her, I would end up freaking out. Now to mention, I didn’t wanted her to disappear again. The feeling of her hand in mine remembered me that she was still here with me.

“So where did you want to go?” I asked.

“Um…” she mumbled, “…I don’t care.”

Hannah sounded a little weird. I snuck a peek back at her, seeing her looking down at her feet. I looked at her for a moment, before turning back to watch where I was walking.

“Well, how does that place look?” I asked. She looked up to see that I was pointing at a little corner sandwich shop. A smile lit up on her face.

“It looks good.”

I smiled back as I lead us toward the door of the little shop. As soon as I pushed the door open, my nose was filled with the fresh smell of bread and meat. I could almost feel my mouth start to water. It smelled heavenly in here.

“Oh it smells so good.” Hannah sung as she walked up beside me.

“Let’s order something.” I said as we walked over to the counter. We each ordered. Hannah didn’t like that I wanted to pay, but she finally gave in and let me. I pulled my wallet out, realizing that we were still holding hands. I looked over at her, she was looking from me to my hand.

“Sorry,” I mumbled as I moved my hand away.

“I’m going to go find a seat.” She said as she grabbed her cup and headed for the fountain machine. I sighed as I handed my money to the guy behind the counter. He told me my order number as he handed me back my change. I turned to find Hannah, seeing her walking toward a table in the back.

“Here you go.”

I turned, seeing our tray of food being pushed onto the counter. I took it, giving the guy behind the counter a smile and a thank you. I stopped to get my drink before working my way back to Hannah.

“I guess you’re not the window seat kind.” I said as I sat down.

Hannah looked at the tray, grabbing her sandwich, “I am.”

“Then why did you sit back here?” I grabbed my own sandwich and began to unwrap it.

“I thought you would want to stay away from the media.”

I stopped before my sandwich had reached my mouth. I looked at Hannah as she took the first bite out of hers. She decided to sit back here because of me. She was thinking about if I was worried about the paparazzi.

“You didn’t have to.”

She looked up at me, “Its fine.” She covered her mouth as she spoke, trying to hide the food in her mouth.

I smiled back, “Okay.” I took a bite into my sandwich. It was really good. I looked up at Hannah. She seemed to be enjoying hers too.

“Okay,” I said, swiping my mouth, “are you going to tell me about this movie or what?”

A smile came to her face, “I think I could.”

“Then please do.”

She smiled at me more. “Well I have one of the leading roles in the Vampire Academy movie. I play Rosemarie Hathaway, and I am having so much fun playing her.”

“And what is this Rosemarie like?”

“Well,” she thought for a moment, “she is a tough girl who will do anything to protect her best friend Vanilisa Dragomir, who is played by Sabrina. She is also a rebel and sees little purpose in rules. Rose also has a bad girl streak that…” she paused as if she was in thought. “…usually involves her flirting around a lot.”

When she had finished, she took another bite of her sandwich. I followed and ate some of my sandwich too. I was slightly amazed. She was so excited about being Rose and she seemed to know her character really well. Not to mention, that she was one of the leading roles in the movie. Not many people could say that about their first movie.

“So,” I emptied my mouth, “are you having fun playing Rose?”

She nodded her head at me as she tried to empty her mouth. “Yeah, I’ve always wanted to play a bad person who is actually good. I was always the goof or the villain back in high school.”

“Well,” I said, “evidently you’re pretty good at it to land the part.”

She wiped to mouth with a napkin, “That’s all I ever hear from our director.”

“Then you must be really good.” I stretched the last syllable of really. Hannah smiled and chuckled a little at me.

“I suppose.”

We continued to talk, some about her movie and some about my work with the guys. We laughed some of the funny things that had happened. One of those things was when I told her how Louis managed to get everyone of us with the old shaving cream in the hand trick. He got Zayn the worst, because he filled both of his hands up before waking him. I guess it was also Zayn’s fault for being such a heavy sleeper.

“Well,” I grabbed my trash, “where do you want to go next?”

She shrugged her shoulders as she grabbed her trash, “I don’t know.”

We both stood from our seats and headed for the trash.

Hannah turned back to me, “Let’s just see where our feet take us.”

I smiled back as she smiled up at me. I was loving her attitude right now. I was also loving her idea. I thought just going wherever our feet took us would be great.

“Then let’s go.”

She nodded at me, before turning and walking the other way. But she turned to fast, running into someone.

“I’m sorry,” she apologized as she looked up at him. She froze when her eyes landed on his face. I could see the muscles in her shoulders grow tenser. I looked up at the guy as he looked at her. He was in mild shock.

“Hannah?”

Who the hell was this guy? And why did Hannah not like being near him?
