The Takeover {Larry Stylinson}

I woke up the next morning and looked at my friends all awake and discussing something. As soon as I woke up, they looked at me and grew quiet.

"What's up?" I asked them.

"Well Lou, we talked to the Gay Rights Association while you were asleep. They want us to go to their office at 10. But we told them that you - the victim - is not allowed to take leave. So they permitted us to go as your representatives to their office while you go to work. So you will go to the office and if he tries to do anything, you will immediately text me. I know that you won't have enough time to type out a message, so I am saving a draft. You just have to click SEND. Got it?"

I nodded while he saved the draft. Soon after, I set out for work but not before Liam gave me some instructions.

He told me that he had studied the cases that were dealt by Gay Rights Association and said that they worked on proof. That is, that even if they saw what happened with their own eyes, they could arrest the convict but could not prove him guilty without proof. So he told me that if Presco did something, I should text him, but I should no expect help. They would most probably record what would happen so that it could act as a firm proof. Although I didn't like the fact that Presco would do all that again, I knew that I would have to go through it one last time so that I could get out of this forever.

I walked in the hotel and started serving the customers. I just wish this day would get over soon so that Presco would get out of my life, and for good.

All the waiters were gone and so were the customers and once again I saw Presco coming towards me. If someone looked at him right now, they wouldn't be able to tell that he was hit on his head with a flower vase the day before.

"LOUIS!" Shit! He is furious and I am in trouble. "TO MY OFFICE! RIGHT NOW!"

I followed him to his office and on my way I sent the message to Liam.

He started what he wanted to do and I was trying not to think much about it. This time he was beating me
too, mumbling about how it is a punishment for what I did yesterday. I was happy for some reason, that he was beating me. Maybe because he would get into even more trouble now. Or atleast I hoped he would. I don't know how this worked but I trusted Li to get me out of this.

I focused my thoughts on how much better it would be when Presco would be behind the bars.
When Presco was done, I went out of the hotel. There standing outside, were my three mates and two other men who looked like people you would not want to mess with.

"Lou, I am sorry. What he did was horrible." Li said after we had climbed into the car, the two men going to another car.

"I don't care about that, Li. Did you take the video?" He started driving and I knew we weren't on the way home. We were most probably going to the GRA (Gay Rights Association) headquarters.

"Yes, we did. I think we have proof enough. The men who were with us to see if exploitation was really taking place or not? And if it was, whether we were doing things correctly so that you could be saved."

"Thank you guys. I don't think I would be able to get out of this mess without you. I seriously have the best mates anyone can ask for. And I am really sorry for not telling you about this sooner.
Soon we reached the GRA office. We all entered the office and the two men were now joined by a third one.

He went through the contract and saw the video.

"Very good boys. So let me get the facts straight. This has been going on for five months and Presco is Louis' boss and owner of Riveria. Louis is gay and has been sexually exploited by the owner. The contract did not state Sexual Relationship in clear terms, thus creating a loophole, and today solid proof has been collected against it. Did I get everything right?" Kevin, the boss, asked. We all nodded in unity.

"Did I leave something out?" He asked.

"No Sir." Liam replied. "When will all this be over?"

"Right now. The police has been called and we are heading over to Riveria."

I was worried about something though.

"Sir, what will happen to Riveria? If the owner gets arrested, Riveria will be shut down. And all the people working there will be jobless."

"No Louis, Riveria will not be shut down, it will be taken over by a new owner. And this will not impact the jobs of the people because the terms and conditions of the jobs and workers will remain the same. So you don't have to worry about that."

"Thank you, Sir."

We all headed towards Riveria where the police had already arrived. We all headed to Presco's room and the police took him in their custody.

"What is happening?"

"Mr. Presco, you are under arrest for sexually exploiting your employee for five months staright." Kevin informed.

"But he had signed the contract."

"Well, the contract was pretty much full proof except that you forgot that GRA states that if sexual relation is to be maintained with an employee, it needs to be clearly stated, otherwise, it is assumed that the employee is uninformed about any such intention of the employer."

"But you don't have any proof, anyway."

"We don't do our work incompletely, Mr. Presco. We have all the proof we need to put you in trial. Please put him the jail, Inspector."

The police took Presco in custody and I thanked Kevin for everything he did. He accepted my gratitude and left.

I smiled because I knew my life had taken a turn for the better.
