Rachel's P.O.V.

"So you guys are staying the whole summer then?" Michael asked, taking a large bite of the pepperoni pizza. We were all squashed into a booth at the pizza place. Michael, Naomi, Ashton and I were on one side with the others on the other

"Yeah, that's the plan anyways" Breanna answered, sipping her drink.

"We really need to find jobs. We've saved up money but I really want to go do all the tourist-y stuff so I need a job" I added in.

Calum met my eye.

"Theres a job opening in the restaurant next to place I work. It's a nice place, I'd say it'd pay well" he told me. "You could apply for that?" He suggested.

I smiled widely.

"That'd be great, I could be a waitress" I commented happily.

Julia giggled while Breanna rolled her eyes.

"You're pretty clumsy Rach, sure you wouldn't drop the plates?" Julia chuckled.

"Eh!" I exclaimed as everyone in the group laughed. "I wouldn't drop anything!"

I was still pretty exhausted from the long flight but after a walk and some food I was feeling a bit better. I couldn't believe I was actually here. Actually in New York. And with my best friends. It was amazing.

"Well we have work tomorrow but I was thinking on Saturday maybe we could take you sight-seeing. All the eight of us. It'd be fun" Ashton spoke up once everyone had stopped laughing.

"Yeah sounds good to me, theres a tonne of stuff I wanna see" Julia replied excitedly.

Ashton nodded.

"This is a pretty cool place I'll say, I was here month's before I saw any of the sights" Luke added.

"I haven't really seen the sights" Naomi said quietly.

All of us looked at her in surprise.

"What?" Michael asked, an eyebrow raised. She simply shrugged in response.

"I guess I just never got around to doing the touristy stuff" she explained. I couldn't help but marvel at her English accent. I loved English accents, they were easily my favourite.

"Well hey you'll see them Saturday, eh?" Michael pressed a quick kiss to her cheek and she blushed slightly. It was clear they were very into each other, it was adorable really.

"Yeah names, you should've said, we could've brought you to the statue of liberty and the empire state building and-" Luke began rambling.

"We'll have to take a tonne of pictures so. The girl who lived in New York two years and hasn't seen any of the sights" Calum teased.

I couldn't help but grin. Ashtons friends seemed really cool, I really liked them so far. Not to mention they were all quite attractive. I had a feeling this was going to be a really good summer. One we wouldn't forget anytime soon.
