Naomi's P.O.V.

I was sitting in Ashton and Calum's apartment nervously. Although the girls had their own apartment, Michael said he would come get me from this apartment to meet them once they were back. I had been really nervous about meeting Ashtons sister and her friends. I was painfully shy so I found it difficult to make friends.

Since Michael and I had started going out I had become a bit better. I had come from London to pursue my dream of being an author. I was working in a coffee shop however to pay the bill's while working on my writing. That was where I met Michael. He and Calum would come in most morning's on their way to work.
Though I was incredibly awkward with them first, after a few months I started getting used to them and when Michael asked me out I said yes. He was easily the best thing that ever happened to me.

I had become close with all the boys since dating Michael, which I was glad for. I had been in New York almost two years and I hadn't managed to make any other friends.

My phone pulled me out of my train of thought by buzzing in my pocket. As I pulled it out my stomach fluttered a little. It was a text from Michael.

'We'll be there any minute. The key to the girls apartment is next to the fruit bowl, meet you down there?'

I sent him back a quick reply before grabbing the key and heading down to the girls soon-to-be apartment. I had to admit it was a really nice place and for such a decent price. There was three rooms, each with double beds along with a living room and a small kitchen.

My apartment was tiny, not that it mattered much. I spent most of my nights at Michael's and most of my days at Ashtons. It seemed his place was where we all hung out the most.

I was just looking around the girls apartment when suddenly the door opened and all seven of them walked in, chatting as they did.

I stood frozen to the spot, my eyes wide with the reality of having to meet three new people. Within seconds Michael was by my side, his arm slung around my waist.

"Guys this is my girlfriend, Naomi" he announced, getting the attention of the three girls. "Names, this is Rachel, Breanna and Julia" he added, pointing to each in turn.

I instantly noticed how pretty they all were and felt a self-conscious. I met Rachel's eye, noting how extremely beautiful she was. I understood now why Ashton had that word with the boy's before taking off for the airport.


"I'm serious now.. Hands off" Ashton began firmly, staring strongly at Calum and Luke.

"Dude chill, we're not gonna go after your sister" Luke promised, holding his hands up in surrender.

"I mean it you two. You don't know Rachel, she's very good at getting what she wants" Ashton continued.

"Well it can't be hard. Have you seen her? She's gorgeous man" Calum added. Michael chuckled from his spot next to me "that she is" he mumbled, causing me to seat him across the head playfully.

They had seen a picture of Ashton and Rachel recently and hadn't stopped teasing him about how hot she was. I hadn't seen the picture but took their word for it.

"Calum, I swear if you so much as-" Ashton began but I cut him off.

"Relax Ash, she's a big girl. I'm sure she can look after herself. Now go, you guys' ll be late to the airport if you don't hurry" I encouraged.


"It's really nice to meet you!" Rachel pulled me into a hug, my eyes widening as she did.

"Emm.. hi" I mumbled softly.

"Eh lay off Rach, Our little names here is rather shy" Ashton pulled me out of her grip wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Names?" Julia asked, looking a little confused.

"Yeah like short for Naomi, Mikey's always called her names. Even before they were together when he used to chat about how pretty she was and how she was 'starting to like him' " Ashton answered her giggling a little as he did.

Breanna walked past us, glancing around the apartment.

"This place is pretty cool! We're lucky you guys sorted it out for us!" She commented. Luke smiled softly, his eyes trained in her.

"No problem at all love" he replied, causing her to turn and face him, a smile playing at her own lips.

"I really wanna just go to sleep" Julia moaned, walking over to the couch, collapsing on it.

"You know its probably best for you to stay up as long as you can. You need to get into the pattern of our nights and day here. Your body clock must be way off right now" Ashton replied, pulling away from me to walk over to the couch, sitting next to her.

The others followed suit, gathering around the couch, some on the floor or in the armchair. Michael was still standing next to me. He laced his fingers with mine, kissing my temple softly.

"C'mon babe, they don't bite" he whispered, before pulling me off in the direction of the group.
