Rachel's P.O.V.

"So what exactly is jut that the winner gets?" Calum asked smugly, a little out of breath. In all fairness he had run pretty fast, faster than I could. It was obvious however he didn't run much as he couldnt persist with the running and had to take a rest after he won our race.

We were now jogging along, slowly but surely.

"Well I don't know, we hadn't really decided. What is it that you want?" I asked, my ponytail bobbing along as I ran.

"So I get anything?" He asked, his voice clrclearly excited.

"No, you most certainly do not get anything. Something small and within reason" I told him, giving him a firm glance.

"Alright so, I'll let you know when I've decided what I want" he told me with a grin.

We jogged for a good while before deciding to head back to the apartments. As it was still only quite early everyone was only getting up so we were all just going to have breakfast at Ashton and Calum's. I decided I needed a quick shower before breakfast as I was all sweaty from running.

It was a pretty warm day so once I had showered I changed into a pair of high waisted shorts and a white crop top, throwing on my white converse. I did my make up as quickly as I could manage before heading to the boys' apartment.

Michael and Naomi were heading out to get breakfast and I met them just outside Ashtons door. Once inside Ashtons apartment the smell of pancakes hit me.

"This smells delicious guys" I grinned walking in to sit down next to Julia. She gave me a smile as a greeting and I simply nodded back.

"Yeah, figured you'd need something nice after all that losing today" Calum teased.

"Hey! In all fairness I'm a much better runner than you. You just happen to be able to run faster. I can run for longer" I replied.

"Thats not true" he argued quickly.

I just nodded.

"Fine then, tomorrow morning we'll go again. We'll keep running until one of us gives up, okay?" He asked.

I grinned. "You're on"

He smirked and then continued on making the pancakes. Breanna and Luke were chatting away while Ashton was helping Calum cook.

"So the guys are going back to work the day after tomorrow. I need to drop my cv into the restaurant next to that place Calum works" I told Julia.

She nodded.

"Yeah I better start looking for something" she agreed.

"Oh hey, I was talking to my friend Ashley, she works in there and she said she can recommend you for the job. A lot of times its bout who you know not what you know" Calum turned around to face me as he spoke.

"Ahh thank you Calum, that's awesome" I thanked him.

"You can give me your cv and I'll give it to her to hand in" he added.

I smiled widely. Things seemed to be working out well for us here.
