Macey's Point Of View



I stood in front of my locker. Allison had some thing with her biology teacher, so she could get out of school 15 minutes late. I basically was the only one in the hallway, since school ended already. My foot was tapping the floor silently. The same thing with Allison and her biology teacher had been going on for about two months. She says it's a project about the evolution of the human race. I don't know why she needs the help of a teacher to do the project. Her biology teacher, Mr. Matthews, is a really sweet guy. He is just 4 years older than us, which is really cool, because he doesn't give much homework. He hates homework, but he has to give some homework, of course. He keeps asking Allison to her class after school to complete the project, but she never gets it done. Well, she only does it 15 minutes after school, no wonder she never completes it. I waited 2 more minutes, until she appeared behind the corner. She was carrying a roll of white paper and a biology book.

"Finally! You finished it!" I said to Allison as she came closer to me. She had a large smile on her face.
"Well, it's not finished yet but Mr. Matthews let me take it home. I have to finish it and go show it to him. I have a time limit of two weeks." She said. My phone buzzed as a sign that I got a message. The message was from my sister. "Okay, if your done here let's go. My sister texted me, my mom needs my help." I said and threw by bag on my shoulder. I pushed my phone in my pocket. "Yea let's go. My dad is waiting for me to go home. He needs my help too." Ally said and walked to the door. She opened it and let me out first.

The wind was blowing slightly. We were walking down the avenue near Ally's house, when a dog ran in front of us. Ally almost tripped on it.

"Dug, what the hell? Why are you free?" Ally shouted. Dug was Ally's fat golden retriever what looked like the dog from Up. That's why she named it Dug. He looks pretty funny to be honest. Ally lifted Dug up and petted his head. "Does he have a collar on?" I asked while Dug was licking my hand. "No, so he jumped out of a window probably, my dad keeps windows open really often." She said while taking a leash from her bag. "I always have an extra leash with me. This happens kind of often." She tied the leash around Dug's neck and put Dug down on the ground. "Well, I'll go now. See you tomorrow" Ally said and turned to her street. I continued straight along the avenue.

I opened the door and stepped in. My sister Elizabeth, who is 1 year younger than me, sat on the floor in the livingroom with her laptop one the ground. She was biting her nails, so something big was going on.

"Liz, what's going on?" I asked while looking at the screen of her laptop. She was looking at a timer, what had 2 minutes of time left. That's when I realized what site she was on.

"Liz! You can't get the tickets! Mom already said no!" I yelled. She was buying tickets to a One Direction concert. She didn't have a permission to buy the tickets. "Mom said I could go! I just need a friend!" Liz yelled back. "Doesn't Megan want to go with you.?" I asked while sitting next to her. Liz looked kind of sad.
"Megan is going with Lindsay." She said still looking at the screen. Megan was her best friend, and Lindsay is like her biggest enemy. She always steals other's friends, and this time her target was Liz. "Do you want to come with me?" She asked turning to look at me. I was a fan of them, but I didn't have money to buy tickets of my own. I was kind of suprised she asked me to go with her. "Liz, of course I'll come with you." I said. She smiled and looked back at the screen. The timer had 5 seconds until you could buy tickets. She took a deep breath. She was scared she couldn't get the tickets. 3....2....1....
